[MoF] Black Friday Fund 2020

Day 4,754, 11:24 Published in Netherlands Netherlands by Ministerie van Economische Zak

Dear Citizens of the eNetherlands,,

With only days remaining till Black Friday arrives and a slew of discounts will become available, the Ministry of Finance wants to make you aware of the possibility of receiving subsidy for these discounts. This will be similar to the Program that was introduced last year, besides some minor adjustments. Details can change depending on what -actually- comes up on Black Friday. To keep it simple:

1) Energy Centers and Training Grounds
Permanent Energy Centers, as well as the (first two) Training Grounds are essential in making every citizen self-sufficient. The Energy Centers increase your energy storage ability, making sure you miss out less on energy recovery, while Training Grounds are an easy way to gain regular gold through the Super Soldier medals.

Since most eligible citizens will already have those and considering the essential factor of them, these will be subsidized 100% in case of a discount on Black Friday.

2) Company Discounts
The Netherlands has done well during the Resource Wars. Despite the Aircraft Industry being almost non-viable to everyone's disappointment, we do have an awesome 100% Food Bonus. We therefore suggest citizens to primarily start or expand production of food in the Netherlands. Besides that, production of Q7 tanks that will always be needed in 100% nations abroad is motivated as well.

You can request 50% of the costs of Q1-Q4 Food upgrades to a maximum of 250 Gold, provided they are located in NL (Food). In addition, one can claim an additional 100 Gold for upgrades to Q7 (Land) Weapons. Only purchases of Q4 and Q5 Raw Materials in these branches will be included as eligible for refunding.

These discounts can only be claimed on the conditions that:

1) Has been a long-term citizen of the eNetherlands. In case of newer citizens and recently arrived foreigners, the subsidy will be judged based on a case-to-case basis.
2) Provide a 'before' and 'after' screenshot that makes clear what has been newly bought and - in the case of companies - where the holding is located.
3) Funds are in principle only provided AFTER your own purchase has been made.
4) The exact funding available may change (although the current numbers are a minimum) depending on interest. The Netherlands has saved a lot of funds over the past year and is increasingly gaining more in the next months. By investing in our citizens, that trend will only increase!

If you have any (further) suggestions regarding Black Friday or perhaps a miscellaneous request (i.e. moving your food companies to NL) feel free to contact the Minister of Finance, NoTie112.
