WHAT IS A HOLDING?


In real life, the holding company is like a parent company, where all branches and branches of the company must report, in order to build an effective internal structure in economic and administrative aspects within economic conglomerates.

in the game, holding is as if it were a personal economic center of each player, where one must put the companies so that one can work on them.

Since the upgrade took place on June 30, 2016 (day 3146 of the New World) so that you can produce in any company, it must be inside a Holding.

Therefore, every holding company must be located in a certain region, and the companies will be located in that holding company. The companies installed in this region will receive the resource production bonus based on the country of the region and the region itself. Each Holding can own endless companies.

Country Productivity Bonus: Bonus for all the resources of that type that the country has. If a region has a bonus and has no connection to the capital, this value will be half the total amount.

The Productivity Bonus for a region: is the sum of the industry-specific resources available in the region divided by 5. Ex:If the region has the best 4 features of an industry, its productivity bonus will be 18% (90% / 5).
POLLUTION

The pollution factor is based on the number of goods in the same region that are produced compared to the general average of production of that same type of good. The factor varies between 0 and 25%. The more goods produced in a region, the greater its pollution.

Basically it is like this: The more goods are produced, the more it was worked in companies in that region. In order to produce, companies pollute the environment in which they are, then the more it was worked, the more it is polluted. Pollution is always based on the day before.

Pollution affects factories differently, depending on their quality, since each product is considered a good. That is, Q1 food factories may be subject to a greater pollution than a Q2 food factory if there are more Q1 companies producing there than Q2 producing.

As for raw material companies, pollution also affects all companies of the same type. EXAMPLE: if the gun raw material pollution is 10%, it will affect 10% of all gun raw material companies in that region (regardless of whether it is the Iron Mine, Aluminum Production or Extraction of Latex)

If a country does not have any bonuses, pollution can affect even the base production. The greater the pollution, the more it will decrease the production

When you access the page of a region, you can now observe its pollution factor, eg:



EXAMPLE


Based on the number presented and assuming a production factor of 25%, without production boosters, the productivity of a food company will be calculated by:

Total productivity = 100% (Productivity_base) + 100% (bonus_of_pais) + 18% (bonus_of_region) + 0% (individual_boster) - 25% (pollution) = 193% (93% production bonus).

For the same example, but without pollution, we have: 100% + 100% + 18% + 0 - 0 = 218% as total productivity (118% production bonus).

ANOTHER EXAMPLE:


0% bonus per country, 0% bonus per region, maximum pollution: 100 + 0 + 0 + 0 - 25 = 75% of total productivity (-25% bonus production).

50% bonus per country, 5% bonus per region, 5% pollution: 100 + 50 + 5 + 0 - 5 = 150% of total productivity (50% bonus production).

ACCESS MENU FOR THE HOLDINGS


First, you need to access the "My Places" menu, followed by "Companies":


On the "Companies" page, we can see the option to create Holdings:


Our next step is to select this option. This will open a page with several configuration options. We will explain all below:


1: In this option, we see the cost of creating the Holding. The first of your account will be free. After this will be charged a value of 25 Golds for each holding already created.

Holding Cost = Number of Holdings Owned * 25 golds

Ex: Cost of 3rd Holding = 2 * 25 = 50 golds

IMPORTANT: The value in golds to be charged by the other holdings is automatically converted to the lowest gold price in the money market, the amount being charged in PKR.

Example: Imagine that the value of gold in the market is 400 PKR. When you create the third holding, you pay: 50 x 400 PKR = 20,000 PKR

2: In this option the player can choose in which region he wants to place his Holding, remembering that the region that is created, will be the region that the player is currently in. If the player wants to change the region, he must select the "(change)" option and pay the value of the region change


3: Here is shown the total bonus of the country for the resources.


4: Here is shown the bonus of the region for the products that it has. As you can see, this value is divided by 5. So a Salitre bonus that would be 30% is shown as 6%.


5: For this option, we have some menus that need to be analyzed individually.

  The first shows the pollution factor of the region, it is specific for each type of product and for each quality of product, except for the raw material where all of each type have the same value.


The second shows the tax rates for that region that will create your holding. You can see the work rate (we'll explain the calculation below), the import rate, and the VAT.

 The third presents information on the salary market in that currency, with maximum, average and minimum salary. It is important to note that for a player who opens a job, it will be made available to all countries that he owns.

 The fourth and last comment on commercial embargoes that the country where your Holding will be created possesses.

It is important to comment that:

 When the country of citizenship of the owner of a Holding is in Direct War where the Holding is allocated, the owner can not work in the Holding companies.
 If there is an economic embargo between the country where the Holding is located and the country of citizenship, it will not be possible to work in the Holding companies either.

The economic embargoes act as a reprisal against the country and its businessmen, preventing or limiting the commercialization between them. When the country in which the holding is located decrees an economic embargo against the country of citizenship (or vice versa), it will not be possible to work in their companies for as long as the embargo lasts.

HOW TO CREATE A HOLDING


After choosing the region, the next step is to select the "Create Holding Company" button. A window will appear with the option to choose a name for the Holding:


When you finish creating the Holding, it will appear on the Companies screen, as shown below:


Our next step is to select the companies that are without a defined Holding and allocate them in the new one using the "Assign to Holding Company" button.
The first time your company is placed in a holding company, there will be no costs because it was not in a holding company.

To change a holding company, the cost to relocate a company is based on the value of it and the distance between the 2 Holdings. The reallocation fee is paid in Local Currency and varies between 5% and 20% of the Company's value.

DETAIL: It is considered full value, not taking into account the discounts of 45% when developing companies, which occur monthly.

For example: If the player owns a Q7 Weapons company (with a value of 1230 gold = 10 Golds of creation and 1220 Golds of Upgrade and Q1 to Q7), using the money market rate (assuming 1 gold as 400 PKR), the value in local currency will be PKR 492000. Therefore, your region change will be between 24600 PKR and 98400 PKR (5% to 20😵 depending on the distance.

The reallocation formula is 5% of the company's value + 1% for each 1000 Km traveled, limited to 20% of the value.

WORK AND TAXES



You can still work as a manager in your company, but now you will have to be located in the same region of the Holding that the company is located.

With respect to the Work Rate as Manager, it will be shared between the country where the Holding is located and the country of citizenship of the player, such as the formula:

Work rate paid = 80% (for the Holding country) and 20% (for the country of citizenship).

Example: A player works as a manager in company A and his citizenship is in country B. He will pay 80% of the rate from country A (to country A) and 20% of rate from country B (to country B ).

COMPANIES FOR SALE


To buy a Company that already owns a Holding, you must have a Holding company in that same territory. A company that is not located in a Holding can be bought by any player, no matter where that player's Holdings are.


IMPORTANT TIPS


•The use of raw material continues as before the upgrade, all that is produced or consumed will come from the inventory of the owner of the company. So always keep raw materials in inventory for your employees.

• Owning a Holding in a country does not allow you to sell products in it, you need a Commercial License before you can then use that market for sale.

•You are not allowed to produce in a company, unless it is in a holding company;

• Holdings are fixed in the region in which they are allocated, and may house several companies, there is no limit;

• The first holding company costs nothing, the others will have an increasing cost;

•Each region has different bonuses for the different industries of the country

• It costs nothing to put a company in a holding company, but to move it to another holding company, it is necessary to pay. The better the company, the more expensive it is;

• The more companies producing in a region, the greater the pollution. Pollution lowers productivity (but as high concentration is only where it has a lot of bonus, so much so)

• You can not work as a manager if you are not in the same region as the holding company. (as the aircraft and home companies do not allow you to work as a manager, do not worry about staying in that region, you can be on the other side of the world and use work tickets)

• You can only buy arms factories that are not located in a holding company or in a region where you have a holding company

• Be careful where you put holding, because if he decides to create an economic embargo or attack your country of citizenship, you will not be able to produce

•Finally, Holdings can not change regions, be very careful when creating one
