eRepublik is a War Game.
If anyone tells you otherwise, they are full of crap!
Look at the game interface.
On the front page, there are pictures of bombs and rockets and “Wars” has it’s own tab at the top.

How do Plato and the people that work for eRepublik Labs make money? They sell you Gold so that you can buy Weapons and buy Companies that make Weapons. The Gold they sell you can also be used to buy Companies that make food. Food = Energy. Energy that is needed to fight. So, they also sell you Energy Bars. And they have designed a formula that requires you to need energy to fight.

The other side of this coin is that you don’t spend a dime of your RL money on this game. Does that mean you cannot be successful? No it does not. But to be successful, you need a plan.

As a member of SEAL, you get 15 Q7 Tanks & 1500 Health once a day, every day! Burn through that? You can get an additional 5 Tanks and 150 Health as a once a day refill. In addition to fighting for the interests of our Country, SEAL. also hosts our own Joint Strikes. We select a Battle or Campaign, and together with Military Units from the eNZ and around the eWorld, we fight for people.

yes its a war game, but it also has great functions for political, social and journalist roles as well..

many people focus mainly in the political parts of the game (like me), or in the journalism/article writting part of the game (like you and me), and also they use this games chat+message functions as our own social media hub, which is also another popular use of this games functions...

with that being said, this game needs more new e-nations in it, more seasonal events, new quests/missions and medals to earn, otherwise it will keep stagnating and this is bad for them.

i totally agree with the what you said. I like the article part but also I like to chat/message. As for the introduction of new e-nations it is a must. 12,5 years in the game and I still wait for E-Malta , E-Iceland, E-Lebanon, E- Palestine and the remaining e-African, e-Asian, e-Arab, e-American countries to join.

Plato don't sell viable items, everything still owned by erep. They take your money in exchange for a short cut. We have people that are owed items from gameplay but have never been reimbursed.

We have help for new players called nhs:- supplies free food depending on increased exp points. There are also incentives to rank up by rewarding with food/wraps or money.

I have given up on the journalistic area as there are better editing facilities in the forums, it is shamefull that this has not been debugger properly!
