Hello again my dear Belgian citizens,

I know you have been waiting for an update from your government for a long time. Before I go in to detail I just want to thank you all for fighting hard and the once who did their missions...congratulations!!

On the agenda today:
- Home affairs: new articles for our new citizens,BTA members, new approved applicants, world in review.
- Foreign affairs: new State Secretary, ambassadors
- Finances: Resignation new appointment, import taxes, army funding approved
- Defence: Successful NE war.
- upcoming congress elections

Home affairs

Belgian training army has now 30 members. Elynea takes care off them with the food for new citizens program and with tutorials. Mudduck95 has moved to the eNew Zealand but is still helping Elynea with her task.
Ernest had improved the way we decide to admit new applicants in to the country. This department is running smoothly!! New Belgian citizens are: DemetriusA, Sergeant Sterling, Requiem Domine, Beermagedon, irishbhoy1967,flasckq,Balkan Beast, Quik2Anger, Sicerio, mile1555

Monsieur Guilontine has published a few articles called world in review to get your interest going for politics off the eWorld. I would like to call on you to read them and participate in discussing them.

Foreign Affairs

An other change in the foreign affairs department. Juan Cruz who resigned from his post has been replaced by Jamster737. Jamster is not new to the job so I know he will be a great advantage for the department.
In two days our MPP with Venezuela expires so talks are going on to replace it with a new one.

Finances

Helviro has unfortunately resigned due to a lack of time. He has been replaced by Jofroi who will combine it with his tasks as VP.
There’s also been an update to the taxes. Import taxes have been severely lowered to increase import on our market. Our new minister of Finances will publish a new article about this in a few days when his exams are over.

Defence

Today we will have completed the NE war with the United Kingdom. They will accept peace and that should end it. Our newer citizens should have had plenty of time to complete the True Patriot mission.
Congress has also voted yes on a new budget for the BAF.

Tomorrow there will be congress elections again. I hope for an exciting race.

I’m happy to see some new names in here and am curious about what they’ll accomplish.

Things I still want to do in these last weeks of my term

Expand the food for new citizens program by asking for a bigger budget.
Work out a way to move the more experienced members from BTA to BAF or just too the community if they don’t want to become soldiers.
