[Flash4SFP] New Blood for the SFP

I honestly never expected to run for a major political office. Yet here I am, declaring my intention to run for Party President of the Socialist Freedom Party.

As you may have seen from my previous articles, I have a lot of love for the SFP and the opportunities that it has presented me. So a few days ago I sent quick messages to shiloh13 and hcmadman, essentially asking them if I had any business running for SFP President. Both of them have been incredibly helpful to me in the past, and I was beyond pleased and empowered by the advice that they both gave me about this process.

Despite things slowing down across the board for eUSA, I would love the opportunity to serve as the President of the SFP. I have some new ideas for getting players involved in the party, which I will touch on briefly at the end of this article, and I hope to bring in some newer leadership to help support the brilliant group of veteran players that have been keeping SFP afloat all this time. I'm planning to break everything up into at least three articles (this one, my platform, and my cabinet) so stay tuned for those in the coming week!

Here's my brief "about me" for anyone that doesn't know me:

I joined eRep in January 2013 and played consistently for about two years before life caught up to me and I had to back away. During that time I served four terms in Congress across several parties (USWP, Feds, and the LAP) and served for several months as the ambassador to eAustralia. Then, in June, I was brought back to eRepublik with renewed interest (and time). Since then, I've served two terms in Congress for SFP, served as Councillor in shiloh's cabinet for his latest two terms as Party President, and have just recently been picked by Tyler Bubblar as Secretary of Education for eUSA. I've never been as involved in eUSA as I am now, and I'd love to keep that same energy as Party President of SFP.

Now, one note about my cabinet:

Consider this an open call for all members of SFP that want to get involved or stay involved to message me. The reason I am not announcing a cabinet right away is because I want to hear from all of you. Even if you've never served in a political position, don't hesitate to send me a message if you have any interest in getting involved at all. If you're a longtime veteran who wants to stay on or try something new, reach out to me as well.


The deep dive into my platform and plans for SFP will be released in a few days, but to not leave you completely in the dark I would like to cover the basics here.

My platform consists of four key parts, all of which are important to making SFP the best party it can be. Below is a graphic showing these four main goals: Engagement, New Programs, Party Growth, and Having Fun.
