Join the new world

So a full week has passed of glorious rule or if you like, 4 days of no-one doing a thing about it where it matters.

In this the 31st article of the new age I tried summoning up some rage and indignation but just wasn't really feeling it today.

My general apathy today is probably a reflection on the lack of feedback I've been getting on the technical matters of running the country and basically making sure that a dictatorship can't happen again.

Perhaps what is needed is a more assertive stance that is actually what you would actually get from an MTO or someone that didn't give a fig about what comes after. more of a spur to action as it were.

Fortunatley I have other thing to mull over before I commit to the kind of 'cultural revolution' that Keithypoo probably wet dreams about.



To the relief of all TW organisers the League of Allies' event is over and we are onto 'Determination & Resource Concessions'.

The important points to note are;

Everybody gets one free chance to move their companies.

This means the new players who weren't aware of regional bonuses, players who never moved when the resource wars were introduced or those screwed by the last resource war - You now have the chance to remedy the situation. I very strongly advise you to read Spite's second article if this is your situation.

Determination changes are bad for small nations

Our neighbours Belgium currently have a TW with Latvia where they bounce around 3 regions. Under these new rules the determination is going to accrue at such a rate in such a small space as to make it hard for the underappreciated might of Latvia to hold them down from any random tankers in the long run.

Whilst we are no 50 region USA, our not insignificant number of spare regions makes a TW for another nation a tolerable matter.

Resource Renting will not work as Plato intended

Our last attempt at gathering resources was not as successful as the one preceding it and our spare resources are very common and not of great value but the quantity of each and their spread isn't altogether unfavorable


We've also been discussing a small change to our TW contract with Croatia and some citizens resident in certain regions have already been contacted, informed and offered compensation to move, cope or otherwise deal with the small and temporary adjustment.

The training war agreement with Croatia has been amended;

1. This agreement is for the next 3 weeks

2. Croatia and UK will have a TW in the regions of
a. West Midlands
b. SW of England
c. SE of England

3. Croatia will be considered the occupying power of Wales and N.Ireland
a. In that time they are free to engage in a TW with a third nation using those regions.
b. The third nation is understood to be either Greece or Ireland.

4. Croatia is responsible for ensuring that any money taken from the occupied UK regions by either themselves or Ireland or Greece is returned to the UK treasury.




There are no current supplies on offer or CO's for UK fighters.

We will however be going to war before the end of the week.
