[CP] Update day 1302

Hello Belgium,

It is time for an update on what is happening in eBelgium and especially in government and congress. On the agenda the last couple off days were, seeking an MPP to replace the one we have with Hungary, talking with UK about an NE war to provide our new citizens the possibility of completing the NE mission. The Minister of Finances has been working on a proposal to use congress-gold instead of just putting it in the bank.



1. Seeking a new MPP

After lots of talking with my Minister of Foreign Affairs and my vice presidents, I choose Spain as our next MPP. We will wait a few days to start it so they don’t get in the way of the fights with UK. The MPP with Venezuela will be replaced when it is needed but rest assured talks are already in progress.

2. Seeking an NE

Elynea, our minister of education, asked if there was some way to let our new citizens finish the True Patriot mission where they have to kill 30 Natural enemies. It will bring them again one step closer to gain more strength and experience.
So we looked around us to see this was possible. Options were extremely limited. The Netherlands don’t have a border with Belgium. Germany is still taken over by Poland. That leaves France and UK. France is taking heavy fire from both Hungary and Poland so they are occupied.
This leaves us with the UK. They are willing to help us out despite the war with Ireland.

3. Seeking a purpose for congress gold.

We have been discussing what to do with the congress gold for a while. Helviro has worked out a proposal. You can read that here. I strongly support this and I can’t say it often enough, I am proud of what BAF and BTA have accomplished for all Belgians that are part of it.
This proposal will be discussed in congress and in army High command and I hope that it will be constructive so we can finally spend some money on this country and its citizens.

4. Improving army structures and destiny of the 50g donated to the army.

It is about time we let the strongest soldiers from BTA go through to BAF. NFRonny has started a forum debate about it and military high command will take it under advisement and use the good ideas to work it out. The 50 gold that has been debated about hasn’t been used yet due to the new changes administrators forced on us. High command is debating what to do with it. They will take a discussion about it in the next couple off days.



Personal projects.

I have been doing a lot off talking with both UK and France. eBelgium has lost faith in both nations because off things that happened in the past. UK has made a first step by writing a message for eBelgium and now helping us with the NE fight for our new citizens.
I have had talks with the French CP and I can tell you that soon you will get a joined written article that will explain a lot of what was our relation with eFrance in the past, now and what we would like to see in the future.
