[CP]Final report

Day 1,321, 06:15 Published in Belgium Belgium by eBelgian Presidency

Good day Belgium!

My reign over you as President is coming to an end. I’m in desperate need for some holidays. Being a president has been fun but also very tiresome. I know I haven’t been in the spotlight the last week or so but during these last few days I am looking to achieve two more goals. More funding for BTA and a way to get the more experienced members of BTA joining the community and/or BAF. I know congress will make a wise decision and that I can go in to summer holidays with a positive feeling that eBelgium will be okay.

Looking back on this Governments achievements I would like to say it has been a good month. One sad note in it is Helviro who needed to resign his post. We had the NE war with UK for our new citizens to complete the mission which also made our bond with UK better then it has been in months. Belgian armed forces has more budget. There is a renewed balance in our MPPs with Spain(ONE) and China(EDEN). Over all a good month!

I asked my government to write a report about what they have accomplished in the past month.

Vice Presidents

Jofroi: During the month, I worked as an advisor on Mitteke's side more focused on Belgian affairs (the FA team is strong and big enough ). Together we worked a lot to kick Balkan out of congress. My strong point was that I was a lot active and always aware of last updates, giving pieces of information if necessary. Excepted for the Training War, the month has been relatively quiet. I also supervised the MoF and some part of MoHA job.

NLSP: As Vice-President, I worked this month mainly on the background. There where not a lot of public actions I did. My tasks included informing and giving advice to our president, supervising my colleague VP, urging some ministers to do their job and being 'stand-bye' whenever the president can't be present. In the meanwhile, government proposals and ideas where followed up and Critically was multiple times kicked out of #eBrussels To say shortly, Jofroi and my task where of similar nature, but mostly handled different topics/area's.

Ministry of Finance

Jofroi: I took the place of Helviro when he had to leave us for lack of time.
Army Budget:
This hasn't been changed for at least 1 month so time was come to fix this. Now the budget will be proportional to the income of the state which make more sense. As it is the main cost of the country, it was expressed with the MPP and the BTA included.

Taxes Policy:

As the BAF is planning to buy products out of the belgian market, the local production is not enough to fulfil the needs. Thus it has been decided (without much success yet) to strongly lower import taxes to allow foreigners to sell products in eBelgium to rise the competition between company owner and bring the belgian market to a world dimension.

Others:

Several other debates about supporting new business or state implication onto the market has been launched but none ended with a proposal.

We can also thanks Ward for his donation of 3 hospitals to the country.

Ministry of Defence

Pieter557: As MoD I made a report about the spending in BAF. I maintained Citizen orders during the training war and I’d like to say thank you to BAF and its soldiers for their help.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Fhaemita Malodorous: Minister of Foreign affairs does what they do best, keeping tabs on what is going on in the e-world, all the wars and other stuff that is happening. Also been talking to foreign dignitaries about stuff making contacts around the eWorld. Been talking with my deputy Jamster about changing the ambassador program something that still has to be implemented.

Ministry of Home Affairs

Ernest Bogdansson: Main job was checking all citizenship requests. This month we had 33 requests, 15 accepted, 2 accepted without permission.
Improved way in which congress member can decide about request, they can vote in poll which is created in every new pending request.

Ministry of Education

Elynea: Messages sent to newcomers. Several newpapers published for informations.
Activity in the Belgian Training Academy. Several post about informations on the forum in french.

Ministry of Fun

Monsieur Guillotine: Being the Minister of Fun, I didn't exactly have as much authority to do important actions such as other ministers. However, I have started a weekly article which is called World in Review. These articles help eBelgian citizens become more aware about what is going on around them and to understand how it might ultimately affect or not affect our wonderful nation. In the end, I hope that I have been able to attract more eBelgians to engage in the forums and discuss the issues around the world, increasing the activity rate in eBelgium.

I hope you all enjoyed me running this country for a few months. I did my best.

~Mittekemuis, your Queen ( and president )

ps. Many thanks to my eHusband. Without his support I would have not been able to do this.
