[CoC] First Report of the Chairman

Day 4,806, 08:32 Published in Belgium Poland by Belgian State Army HQ

Greetings Belgium,

I'd like to take the first few lines of this article to thank each and every Congressmember who voted for me as your Chairman of the current Congress Session.
I am honored to serve this term and to do my best to represent the Voice of Congress to our citizens by informing them of our work.

So without further ado, yesterday evening the vote regarding the new Chairman of Congress law as well as the election of the new Chairman was held.

We had 18 Members of Congress participate among 29 sitting Congressmembers. I am still waiting on confirmation that two members did indeed vote. I will be reaching out to both Bakakun and Arriaes to confirm their vote.

Nevertheless, even with 16 members (excluding both unconfirmed votes), we have esily reached the quorum of 14,5 members required to vote in order to have any validity. What follows is a list of all members who voted as well as how they voted (pending approval of the above mentioned members):

On a party basis:

45 % of HOPE CM's voted! (5 out of 11 possible votes)
To note, should both missing confirmations not confirm the share will fall to a mere 27%

83 % of All TOgethers CM's voted! (10 out of 12 possible votes)

33 % of The Belgian Dream CM's voted! (1 out of 3 possible votes)

66 % of Democratic Socialist Party CM's voted! (2 out of 3 possible votes)

The first vote was in regards to the Chairman of Congress Law:

This law was approved with 83,3% of total votes.

The second vote was on electing MCKitkat, the sole candidate, for Chairman of Congress.

MCKitkat was elected with 72,2% of total votes.

I urge all Congressmembers as well as Citizens to join our Discord Server in order to participate in the debate regarding the future of our country. To our Members of Congress in particular, you owe it to the nation to participate, let the voice that was given to you by the voters be heard!

JOIN NOW!

Signed,

MCKitkat
Chairman of Congress
