[Update] Day Twelve

Hey guys, here are three interesting articles I have found for this week's World in Review.

First, I have an article in India where although things may seem quiet, there is a lot of internal turmoil due to exterior forces influencing Indians in every which way. The article gives a brief (well, not exactly brief) history of all the events India and the USA have shared. It allows people to see what has escalated such dislike the Indians have for the Americans.

Next, we have Switzerland. Although the article talks about all the countries in Europe, I would like to focus on Switzerland. Switzerland, like many other nations such as Netherlands, Italy, France, etc., is being gobbled up by larger powers, Macedonia and Slovenia, similar to other nation's cases, the only difference is that the powers are nations such as Hungary or Poland. At the end, the author writes the reason for Switzerland's failures in attempting to defend itself. And actually, it makes sense. If you don't have strong enough people to fight for you, there is not way to win. No matter how spirited you may be, if the enemy has a gun and you have sticks and stones, there is already a clear victor.

Last, we have Singapore. Although Singapore is probably the quietest nation in all of eRepublik, and although Singapore is the smallest nation in all of eRepublik, and although Singapore has one of the smallest populations in all of eRepublik, Singapore is showing some improvements, to say the least. From this article, it was stated that Singapore now has government company jobs on the market, similar to how we have military company jobs on the market. I see this as a sign that Singapore is trying its hardest to improve the economy, and at the same time, build trust with its people.

So, as you can see, these three topics are all crucial to their whole region, not just them. What do you guys think about these topics? Discuss them!

Yours Truly,
Monsieur Guillontine
