Winter is coming! You might think winter is a good season for playing outside. However, we always catch a cold while playing outside in the winter! Here's some teas that might help you.

1. Quince tea

Quince tea is made using the Chinese quince. The sweetness and fragrant aroma of quince makes it a more unusual drink, and it is often enjoyed in the winter. Drinking quince tea regularly helps prevent colds and the ginger and cinnamon in the mixture help warm the body. To make the tea, put thinly sliced fresh ginseng, ginger, cinnamon, quince preserves, and jujube in water and let it simmer until reduced to half.

2.Jujube tea

Jujube is a small, red, round fruit which used for medicine for 4000 years. When the fruit ripens to a rich red, it is dried and ready to be made into tea. The tea is known as a medicine in combating colds, reducing fever, warming the body and aiding digestion. To make this tea, add dried jujube to water and boil it down until it becomes a dark infusion. Stir a few spoonfuls of the mixture into a cup of hot water.

3. Citron tea

Citron tea is a traditional Korean tea (herbal tea) made from the citrus fruit yuzu. Yuja fruit is thinly sliced with its peel and combined with honey or sugar, prepared as fruit preserves or marmalade. To make the tea, remove the seeds, leaving only the flesh and rind. The easiest way to make yujacha is to thinly slice the rind and boil it in water to extract the flavor. Yuja is beneficial in treating coughs, headaches, and neuralgia.

4. Ginger tea

For thousands of years, ginger has been prized for its medicinal effects, and sipping on ginger tea can provide relief from some uncomfortable conditions. It might be bitter than other teas I mentioned, but I think it is the best tea which can treat cold! To make this tea, place sliced ginger in a tea infuser inside a mug. Pour hot water in mug, cover, and steep for five minutes. Remove infuser before drinking.

Drink these teas! Play outside in the winter!
