Why fight?

Time and time again, I see articles that criticize the war actions taken by eCanada.
There seems to be a general lack of agreement in this society on what war is for, and why we fight.

What did we really stand to gain in the campaign against the UK? After all, most of us knew that we never had a chance of taking London or holding onto regions for any length of time. The answer to me is, everything. War is the force that drives all things, it is the only purpose to work and train and improve ourselves and the regions we live in. By design, the game shows the way to war against other states, but also presents a mirror or real life. This creates for some an illusion that war, as it is in real life, is a destructive thing. This could not be further from the truth.
Fight as often as you can! Support those who lead us to battle. The enemy we fight is not being harmed by our actions. They are benefiting from battle as we are.
Sure we troll and poke fun, feign outrage of every action we can. Remember that it is all just a game.

Acacia Mason and his actions have brought me back to this game and I support his endorsement of Rolo Tahmassee for CP, looking forward to more good times!
