What's a Pirate without the Caribbean?

G'day,

Many tides ago, I was invited to spend some time in the eRepublik of eCuba. At the time I still had many things I wanted to achieve in eAustralian politics, particularly in the economic arena. I feel now I have done all I can, and I am confident that worthy pursers will be there to guard the treasure in the months ahead.

For some, my timing may seem like I am cutting and running. In fact I had planned to go at the end of last term, before the current conflict, but due to real life limiting the amount of time I could spend online, my embarking has been delayed.

Some may blame me for this current conflict, being one of the foremost pushers for better resources in the latest resource war. I'm quite willing to take the blame, but also this process was entirely democratic, and I hope also that those who have complained for some time of a lack of real battles are finding some excitement. I am also confident that eOz will ultimately persevere, as it has done in the past.

I am by no means turning my back towards these shores forever. I still have bounty here, I employ many eAussies, and I will read the news from down under with interest. While I lack the strength to be of much help as a fighter, if there's any way I can help diplomatically I will. I have great optimism for this S.H.I.T.
