What Is to Be Done?

We The People, the top political party in the eUnited States just held a multiple day in game vote, as to whether we should adopt the official policy of the Black Sheep Party and deny the legitimacy of eUSA forum. The vote was overwhelmingly in support. When in the course of human history pettiness and vindictiveness reigns supreme, it will be left to a few brave souls to uproot the system and start anew. The history of the eUSA forum hitherto is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations. We do not say these lightly, but do so for the following reasons.
1. The eUSA Forum is not a community-owned and administered platform. It is a private website owned and operated by PigInZen, who retains absolute authority over its operations. He has shown extreme bias, banning various members of the years. In the past he has given administration privileges to people such as Rainy Sunday, who completely wrecked the forum after having a tantrum; deleting the rich history the forum once contained. He has also targeted members of his choosing, while ignoring serious issues brought up by others. So long as Congress remains subservient to PiginZen, Congress can never be an independent branch. Forum rules, not Congressional rules, dictate decorum. Forum moderators not Congressional moderators dictate who can participate and who cannot.
2. Any compromises as to dual in-game and forum Congressional participation can only exist through the deeply flawed and unfair forum approval system. This is the totally wrong mindset, as it is an artificial barrier that creates hurdles to player engagement. As the game shrinks, we should open the door to players not close the door. For players who want Congressional independence, for players who dislike the totalitarian history of the administrative moderators, for people concerned about privacy, for people who want few hurdles to exist for players - forum use cannot be reconciled.
3. The forum has been used to create non-elected voting "delegates" to solidify meta control and sway close votes in a way that is not representative of the actual voters' will.
4. Finally, no good reason exists to deny in game voting. Those who assert Congressional economy are shouted down by the plethora of folks who have volunteered to do the dirty of making the threads and counting the votes. The burden is non existent and the reward is everything.
So now we return to our opening salvo, What Is to Be Done?
We shall establish in game voting effective immediately. WTP stands by BSP, completely, in walking off the forums.

At some point, you gotta recognize that we are not the same group of people you like to point to as your oppressors of years ago. But it's easier to claim oppression.
"Forum rules, not Congressional rules, dictate decorum. Forum moderators not Congressional moderators dictate who can participate and who cannot."
Citation needed. The Speaker and team handle moderation of Congressional areas with virtually zero external addition.
"deeply flawed and unfair forum approval system"
Explain. It's easy to make a claim with nothing to back it up.

On the issue of Congressional moderation I would point out, if I was elected to Congress who would not to be able to participate in the Congressional thread as Piginzen has proclaimed I am not allowed to participate. The same is true for Pfeiffer.
On the issue of Congressional rules I would point out that Piginzen has paused Congressional threads and or locked Congressional threads in the past based on heated conversations.
It's his forum, he owns it. He is free to do these things.
On the issue of a deeply flawed and unfair forum approval system. we simply mean that the barrier to entry and delegate system create a exclusionary system.
After our in game party vote, it is just the case that the vast majority of the WTP wanted to leave the forum and that alone is reason enough.
So you specifically. You can hardly claim you have no reason for this outcome. Including more than one chance.
I would argue points with you, but you're not going to entertain anything that counters your hurt feelings and claims of oppression. So I'm out.
I was just giving you an example of forum moderation supplanting congressional moderation. I have been a reluctant voice in this but I am very much cognizant of the party vote.
"If I was elected to Congress who would not to be able to participate in the Congressional thread as Piginzen has proclaimed I am not allowed to participate."
We've worked around this before, allowing others to post comments, and allowing voting by proxy.
By eliminating the delegate system, we create hurdles to player engagement. As the game shrinks, we should open the door to players not close the door.
I continue to maintain that me and my party are open to reform, if only players would reach out with their ideas.
@derp we have. Abolish the forum
"When in the course of human history pettiness and vindictiveness reigns supreme, it will be left to a few brave souls to uproot the system and start anew."
So when can we expect your brave pledge to oust your petty and vindictive cabinet? You have surrounded yourself with people who are literally the embodiment of these traits for three terms now. You let them espouse this pettiness and vindictiveness on the national feeds over and over again.
In what regard? CG came out publicly against the Gnilkraps threat, and what happened? He won 2-1 in his largest electoral win ever. I think most Americans agree with him and his administration on this issue as evidenced by the polls.
What does his stance on 'Gnilkraps' have to do with my comment...
And yet, your party remains in the minority. Apparently CG is far more popular than the rest of your party. Curious.

LOL.....the folks that complain the most about the forum are the ones that abuse it the most
needed a good laugh today as the day was shit ....but you helped me get through it
If the EUSA forum was a controlled and admined platform who would you have admin it? You ?
give me a list of names and im sure most folks here would have a problem with most of them ..any one that has played this game for any length of time has grudge whether real or imagined...against some one that still plays
I think BSP complain about it the most but we really can't abuse them if almost none of us use them, so... that's kind of moot point. Goes to show the exact points being made.

Not really sure how to comment because honestly I have not experienced any ill will when it comes to the forms, and I don't see much in terms of ire delivered to others. But that is not from my own unwillingness to see it, I just don't get involved for long enough periods of time to see anything like this.
My questions at this time would be:
1. Are the problems outlined in point #1 still actually things that stand today? Are these grievances still active?
2. Are the issues outlined in point #2 being based on the recently failed vote to have a brokered Private message voting/forum voting system?
3. Is the point in #2 about "Totalitarian Moderation" related to the overall congressional leadership, or strictly circling back to Piginzen?
4. I don't know how to address point #3, however, and this is surface level assumption. I feel anger with the delegate system is solely because it adds soft limitations to the dominant party's political power. Is there more to this?
All I gotta say is that everyone has a different experience. I understand that some may have been greeted kindly to the forums and never had bad experience, but many others have not been. Myself included. Many times things I say or bring up are chastised solely based on my party affiliation or that I have talked with CG before (before I was VP). Especially when I was a month new in the game and had my first experience on the forums, it was not the most warming welcome.

Congress has bent over backward to accommodate you and your party:
1) First you got kicked off the forum. You were then given a second chance and again acted stupid and got kicked off again.
2) In-game/forum voting was used and your party members abused it by voting in both places.
You get what you want, you abuse it, and then cry when everyone comes out against you.
Roasted
My favorite part of this is that CG used one of Vladimir Lenin's most famous polemics as his title.
LOL. Love that. Can we assume now that CG is yet another filthy commie? I think so!
As to the substance of this tirade... yes, the forums are flawed; no, in-game voting is not a panacea and is also flawed; yes, this is mostly about silly vindictive partisanship and flame-throwing; yes, we do need (much) more direct democracy; and finally, yes, there is a revolutionary solution.

Bravo
Just to point out that the only reason bots are out of political parties (well at least in some parties) is because of the eUSA forums. Nothing ingame is stopping bots to camp out in political parties (you know that very well right?).
So, eUSA forums is not legitimate anymore to WTP and BSP? cool, thank you, try and stop it with your ingame rules now.
