Join the new world

Hello there, my fellow American friends!

I thought I'd give you all an update on what's been going on. With a few of my own thoughts on current events in the e-world and a small number of words on the war in Ukraine, which has taken over the game.

The eWorld is in an interesting place currently. In response to the RL war in Ukraine, the two major alliances have decided to halt all real wars until March 15th. I can't remember the last time the world was at peace like this since I started playing. Training wars were not as much of a thing when I played awhile ago, though.

Personally, I believe this is a good time for our alliance and our country to take a few weeks off. The campaigns in the eWorld were a little all over the place, and a few of our alliance's high level members live in the Ukraine in real life. The break is a good time to think about future actions and to stock up for when the real wars begin again.

I have not expressed a public opinion on the war as I don't like to venture into RL conflict in erepublik. However, I think it would be wrong not to say what my stance is while also bringing it up.

I stand with e and rl Ukraine while they fight against their aggressors.




Now that the depressing real life is out of the way, I'd like to talk a little about what we have planned for the future. For the next few days, there really isn't too much planned military wise. I remember a mention of trying to open up a new TW with a new country, so I'm sure you're all excited about that. TWs are what take up the most of my button pushing when I'm logged in, so I'm definitely excited.

I am personally looking forward to March 15th as that is the official end of our international treaty. Real eWars are the best way to unite a country and, more likely, the entire eworld. It would be a good distraction, at least for our community. 

For now, the training war grind is what we must deal with. A grind of weekly TWs and Tuesday epics. 

Before March 15th, I have asked my cabinet and will think of some ideas myself to bring some fun to the game when it is needed most. Here, Paul Proteus has launched a contest for writing articles here. MaryamQ has created a comment haiku contest here. These contests will end with prizes, so if you want some CC for a mediocre level of work, please go compete. 



Finally, I'd like to announce an addition to my cabinet.

I have asked her to assume the role of the Director of Interior. This position will consist of thinking of ideas for new programs, more fun things like these contests to do, and helping me re-continue our VAT program on our country's wall.

Essentially, she's here to make the game more fun outside of the war module for all of us. I have gotten to know her here at the start of my first term as CP and I believe she will be a perfect addition to our country's executive.

That's all I have for you all. Tomorrow is CP election day and i have decided to run again. I am enjoying leading you all, pressing these buttons, and dealing with the eWorld on behalf of our country.
