Join the new world

It’s congress time again and this time we ask you to vote for the Canadian Progressive Front (CPF). Most people know a lot about the CPF but some may not know enough. What everyone needs to know is that it’s a just, responsible and accountable party that works hard at promoting eCanada’s interests. We strive hard to follow our tenets to lead a responsible government and a government that provides for its citizens both at home and on the battlefield while leading the forefront in making sure our foreign policy is sound and that we are prepared to weather the storms of the future. While this current term we worked hard at stabilizing our government revenues, the following term we need to work hard at maintaining existing alliances and/or in developing new ones to ensure eCanada has a vibrant future. We will aim at being very active on the forums for you while leading the way in developing new ideas that will propel our alliances and eCanada’s foreign policy forward.



The core of what the CPF stands for are its tenets and they are to:

1. Uphold the equality of all active Military Units
2. Make the accounting of government funding more open and important
3. Ensure Canada is a reliable and selfless ally
4. To respect, recognize and uphold the supremacy of the mechanics of the game
5. Develop a positive political sphere
6. Bring in Canadians to eRepublik
7. To encourage growth and stability to the eCanadian economy

As you can see our very efforts are aimed at promoting our best efforts to ensure eCanada is great at home while ensuring sound foreign policy abroad. We can’t take all of the credit for the great work done this term as all parties contributed but we aimed at making these changes and we did so with equal contribution from other parties as we worked to develop a positive political sphere.

We aimed at encouraging the growth and stability of the eCanadian economy and we have done that this term. VAT rates were raised by modest amounts as well as the income tax and we can’t take all the credit as all parties were behind the move, but we did have it as our prime policy to push forward during this term. New players should not be discouraged as they will receive more funding from their military units than they would ever pay out in tax and eCanada needed the funding after a severe dwindling of funding threatened collapse, no MU funding and no money for MPPs to sign to protect eCanada. With the new tax rates our income has improved, MU funding is flowing once more, and eCanada has signed the MPPs its needs to protect itself and to provide a DO for its citizens while we’re at peace. However, we have streamlined the MPPs now and now we maintain only an optimal amount of MPPs, ensuring that we don’t waste our tax dollars.

We aimed at upholding the equality of all MUs and that’s exactly what we did this term. With congress’ requests MU’s submitted their proposals on how they handle their MU funding to be approved for receiving funds from the government. The MUs that were approved, many of whom were approved in the past, were approved once again and with the newly gained tax dollars, MU funding flowed once again.

We aimed at making government funding more open and accountable and we did that. A new comptroller was chosen and was the only one given access to the organization responsible for handling monies to MUs whereas the president was locked out. This was to limit the responsibility to one person alone so that if theft occurred again we wouldn’t have the problem of knowing who was at fault. We’re still working with our current CP to determine who took the money during the past administration.

We aimed at making sure eCanada is a reliable and selfless ally and we have done that. We fought hard for ePortugal and we continue to do so, and it’s not the only ally we’ve fought for. We have fought hard for all of our allies during the past and we will continue to do so in the future. While the details of our strategic alliances cannot be revealed we will continue to ensure that eCanada integrates its allies into whatever alliances it might join and that we continue to support our allies regardless of who they may be. Even with changing politics we will continue to fight hard for the countries that have fought hard for us and they we are allied with.

Finally, we aimed at developing a positive political sphere and that’s exactly what we’ve done. This current term was one of the most successful terms congressman have had as we all worked together to implement the various advantages that we aimed for as well. We have worked hard towards these goals while respecting the positions put forth by other parties to establish sound collaboration and consensus on ideas to go forward. We have excelled and as a result so has eCanada.

This next term, our congress is left with choosing the foreign policy of eCanada. While we have the task of choosing the strategic interests of eCanada every term and ensuring our strategic interests are well positioned, this term is probably more important than others due to changing circumstances. Given that we have stabilized the situation on the home front, it allows us more time to focus on foreign policy this coming term and that’s exactly what we’re going to do.

We have chosen great congressman who have shown their dedication, activity and engagement in politics and we know will represent you well. It’s up to you to make sure they are elected and put into office. We also give first time congressman a chance and it’s up to you to vote for them for one day it might be you who’s running for office for that chance at a start of a political career. All of our congressman support the tenets that we have talked about and they all aim at developing a positive political sphere in which we can all work productively. With our status as eCanada's premier party, we've been trying to bring congress to operate in view of the public to include as many active congress members and citizens as possible in discussions for eCanada's future. To do this we need players like you to vote for us in order to help us provide an equal, just and responsible eCanadian society.
