US Politics
Gerald Smyth
RL politics often cause feuding, try to be civil.
I follow RL US politics to a pretty high degree. Although I historically line up mostly with the Republican cause, I am probably considered a very far left Democrat or a Green by US standards.
I typed up my dream cabinet. I'm open to suggestions for change.
President – Bernie Sanders
Vice-President - Russ Feingold
Chief of Staff - Naomi Klein
Secretary of State - Noam Chomsky
Secretary of Defence - Dennis Kucinich
Secretary of Finance - Elizabeth Warren
Secretary of Environment - Jill Stein
Secretary of Education - Bill Ayers
Attorney General - Glenn Greenwald
Press Secretary - Amy Goodman
Questions, comments, concerns? Any RL Americans have suggestions?

I don't know what position you'd want him in but get Jacque Fresco

When I takeover the government (ha ha) I'll put him on a "longtime planning council" or something like that.
I don't know about Kucinich. There is some stuff he has said that I am not to sure about. Of course I can't remember exactly what it was. lol But when I read it I was turned off.
I am with you all the way on Sanders. He is awesome. Tells it like it is.
Warren is good also.

Yeah Kucinich believes in aliens or something weird like that. But his big thing is a Department of Peace which makes a lot sense to me.
Why you call us aliens weird?
We traveled from across the galaxy, landed here only to stick probes up human anuses.......and this is the thanks we get?
Kucinich has a hot wife

He sure does. Wow.
Ron Paul?
While Paul has some ideas that I agree with the White Supremist aspect of his ideas is just wrong. His son has TWO avowed white supremists on his staff.
And that is wrong why?
Because in the beginning with the word, we were all created equal
Or something like that.
Everyone should be seen as an individual. We are all one Race. The Human race. Everything else is cosmetic differences.
Remove any Greens from the list; they never run for lower offices and so would be utterly lost in a real political office.
well... this is very interesting. Stein and Chomsky would be a great fit together, but of all people, Chomsky would be the least likely to accept any position.
There are two positions you left out that rule them all: CIA, Congress.
Basically what happens is some naive douchefag believes, or makes people think they believe, that they can make a difference and change things for the better. Of course, once they take the presidency, very little changes. Congress continues destroying the nation, while the president follows orders mostly from his/her own party and when the president does try to put in place actions that would benefit the people over the government, congress votes it down. The president then takes all of the blame, even though they're usually just a scapegoat.
Think of it like a sports game, congress being the referees. The refs control the game, but in this sport there are no consequences when they call horrible calls or rig the game to their liking. Essentially you have a dream team set up, but once they step foot on the field they're screwed and will have very little control over how the game will result. They can suck at playing, and speed up the US's downfall or try to play well and let the refs screw them over, which will also speed up the downfall. It's a lose lose, which is why no anarchist, like Chomsky, would ever bother taking a position.
