Join the new world

*the crackling hum of air wave static sputters for several seconds before cutting off without warning*

Greetings, America.

As many of you are aware, we are embroiled in a war of proportions not often seen on this continent. For the second time in history, we face a four-way assault on our nation.

The sun these days seems rather dark. Storm clouds on the horizon rumble and flash steely lightning non-stop. Some doom-sayers predict the unprecedented may happen—that the United States of America may finally find itself wiped off the map.



In these dark hours of the night, we find ourselves honor-bound to uphold the greatest and noblest of American traditions. In the spirit of the brave men and women who built this nation-- the Founding Fathers, the Continental Army soldiers, the rebellious citizens who stood against the largest empire ever seen on the planet—we bring to you today, a new voice.

To all the citizens in their homes; to our men and women on the battlefields at home; to our soldiers overseas fighting for the safety and security of our global allies; to our allied soldiers fighting everywhere for themselves and for us; to our leaders working long into the night on wartime issues; to the thousands of refugees who’ve fled their homes for the safety of the California mountains and America’s Bastion of Strength—we present the United States Armed Forces Radio.

As any good leader knows, the war against the enemy extends beyond the battlefield. It reaches out past the fronts and soldiers and into our very living rooms and bedrooms. The people must be united in their every effort to bring about the victory we all know to be rightfully ours!



The United States Armed Forces Radio is here to help with that. Our aim serves but one purpose: to help bring the news to the public and educate them. Our goal is not to shape policy, but to explain and expand. An educated people are a strong people.

Tonight, in our inaugural broadcast, we shall keep it simple. But in the days ahead, we shall bring you knowledge. There will be history. There will be news of triumphs and of failures. Even should the worst come to happen, we shall continue to broadcast from the underground. Our voice shall be here when you need us.



I said we would keep it simple, so tonight we shall only remind everyone of the necessity of national unity. Now is not the time to fall upon ourselves, nor the time to set brother upon brother. Every citizen must join together to fight the enemy.

To that end, here are the simple easy things you can do to help. Contrary to what you may think, you can help. Every citizen has powerful tools to benefit America and they are needed if we are to win this war.
