The Art of Geo Politics.
Leto is breathing its last breath.
Most of our allies are wiped.
Canada is bankrupted.
We are wiped.
I could be said we have a pretty rotten hand at the moment. Couple this with Canadian pride and it seems like things will remain the same.
The good news for you card players out there is that this hand is the making of a “straight”. Leaving Leto presents us with the chance to be independent. Thus giving us the flexibility to fix our current situation. For example I possess a particular set of skills; if I were CP I could easily get American assistance in wiping Fyrom and possibly Croatia out. LETO is basically dead an alliance of wiped nations, we need to be independent to reroll our situation.
This doesn’t mean we are turning back on our best friends, France for example has an NAP with the Americans. There is a blurry line between the different alliances at the moment.
