Food handout
First of all I would like to thank everybody who voted and subscibed. I hope you have recieved your food as promised. If you haven't, send a message to Calew ORG and I'll check it out. On that note, I have handed out approx 600 food-units. And I'm still handing out, so if you haven't voted and subscribed do it and write a comment in my last article. I will probably keep handing out food until Sunday (day 712), so just keep subscribing.


Accusations
Reading some of the comments in my article I noticed that there were a few accusations against me. I'll try to defend myself against these here:
First off there were people saying "he only wants the 5 gold from the medal". Well, if I was doing this for the money, then I would've made an epic fail. Here's the thing, I spent 20 gold on advertisement, 6 gold on food and I will spend even more on other handouts. I haven't even gotten the MMM so I have no income from this. The reason I started this MMM-project was b/c I hated writing articles without having any readers. Now people will hopefully read what I'm writing.
Another common comment was: "Earn your MMM". This one I can actually agree with a little. Those who have worked hard for months to get their MMM might feel that I'm taking a shortcut. But if people feel that my articles are too bad to keep subscribing then they will probably unsubscribe. It might be a shortcut, but I haven't reached the 1000 subscribers-goal. So I will have to write good articles to reach that.


Why subscribe to According to Calew?
Well, I actually have two pretty good reasons.
The first one is of course if you like what I'm writing. This is what I'm trying to achieve, I want 1000 citizens to read my articles and really care and be interested in what they say.
But if you aren't that interested in my articles I still think you should keep your subscription. B/c once every now and then According to Calew will have handouts, the first one was for food and in the future it will probably be guns most often. The reason I'm doing this is to say thanks to my subscribers and to keep the ones that aren't convinced arround. If these keep subscribing and keep reading my articles they might change their minds and start reading b/c they like the articles. The handouts will occure in random articles so be sure to read everyone of them.


What will I be able to read about in this newspaper?
First of all I must say that since I have subscribers from all over the world, Asia and America, PEACE and ex-Atlantis, I will try my absolute best to be neutral. I'm from eUSA so sometimes, though not intentionally, my articles might be in favor of eUSA and it's allies. If they are please send me a PM telling me where I've been biased.
So to the question, as I am really into economy in eRepublik some of my articles will be about economics. In the not to distant future I will probably start an economic project. I won't tell you what yet, but it will be an oppurtunity for us to co-operate in our mutual pursued of wealth.
I will also try to cover the most important world events; wars, admin's changes and more. These will, as said before, be covered as neutrally as possible. I will give you the fact and show you what I think of the events, looking at it not as an eAmerican-citizen, but as a citizen of the new world.
I will also include small updates on what's happening in my eWorld, reaching FM, becoming congressman (probably not), becoming battle hero etc. These updates will be small and their only purpose is to keep you posted on what I'm doing for the moment.


Weapon-handout
As promised in my last article I will hand out weapons. I meant to hand out 100 guns once I reached MMM, but since I haven't reached 1000 subscribers I won't hand out that many. Still there will be some guns. The first five who comment this articles will each get a q2 gun. The 10 after them will get a q1. I know this isn't as big as promised, but once I have 1000 subscribers I will have a huge weapon-handout. Including high-q weapons and lots of low-q.
