The Resistance War is due to commence in only hours. The eAustralian Senate has elected to offer Salesman (one of the key eIndonesian Negotiators) the opportunity to commence this RW on our behalf given his long standing committment and dedication to working to make us a free eNation.
And, now. We ask for your donation.
If you have any gold spare,. any AUD. IN FACT, any currency - donate it to THIS org for your nation. You may not be aware, but RW's cost money. This, coupled with the purchase of companies from Tasmania is very important to ensuring things runs smoothly tomorrow.
So, if you have anything to spare, it would be appreciated. In recognition of your contribution to our ongoing freedom, the Department of Defence will recognise you with a post on here tomorrow, which includes your name and contribution.

Too bad you snubbed your nose at the two RWs already launched. I would have funded another one.
Where does all out tax money go??? The RW is only about 75G. This RW should be TOP PRIORITY for our government to spend our tax money on.
Am I the only one that feels this way? It's so sad to see our government go begging. We do not beg for money for weapons to rank up our fighters. We do not beg for money to fund the gifting of our low wellness people. We do not beg for money for moving tickets to help our people. So why do we go and beg for money for one of the most important things our country can do?

This is not about begging. We WILL invest in this regardless of what people choose to do.
However, we offer the eAustralian community to contribute to something that will be a defining moment (yet again) in eAustralia's history.
The department of defence should choose its word more wisely though. Politics is about keeping up appearances.

Asking AKA begging, for money for this RW is a great insult to the people that live in Taz. Heck, you might as well PM all of them and just demand they cough up the Gold or we will not free them.
Seems like the DoD has their priorities of spending TOTALLY backwards.

I think a few people are missing the point.
The opportunity here is for people to feel like they have made a contribution to the RW effort, and to feel appreciated for it.
People are also forgetting that a lot of the companies will probably have to be bought, which adds to the cost.
I speak entirely for myself here, but I appreciate the opportunity to feel involved in getting another part of eAus back.
Nobody is being forced to cough up extra cash for anything. It is a choice.

If they want to contribute they could move there and fight. That would be the greatest show of support.
Instead our government offers up a "bribe" of sorts to post those who gave money and how much. This indirectly shows those who chose not to contribute. This is a MAJOR conflict of interest to post donations and donors. It's bad enough that people can look at the donation list if they REALLY want to know. 🙂

If Salesman is to lead the RW off eAustralian taxpayer monies then that's a disgrace (no offense to Salesman himself). If we have the eAustralian congress giving a eIndonesian medals off eAustrailan funds in our RW then that's a slap in the face of every single eAustralian.
Why should eAustralian taxpayer monies be used to give eIndonesian's medals? Surely they should be giving a eAustralian that. If that's what's to occur then every single actual eAustralian eCititen should remember this & vote the current congress out of office.

Salesman, from what I hear, is one of the long running champions of eAustralian independence and he has done far more towards getting the territories returned that most of us. But hey, don't let gratitude get in the way of cheap political point scoring..

I mustve missed the meeting where you declared yourself the self announced dictator and overlord of eAus.
For those who dont know what Salesman has done. He was 1 of the key eIndonesian figures that campaigned for our Independance in eIndonesia and has been a beacon for those all around the eWorld to see us grow stronger. Good post Rosewater. AW I suggest you get back to the 21st Century. Racism and being selfish isnt something taken to kindly these days.
It is sad that our country gives an eIndo the RW Medal. Maybe that just proves that eAus does not have a worthy leader. VERY SAD. Good work on your vote Senate! FYI, my vote would have been a tie breaker and I would have NEVER voted for an eIndo to get the RW Medal!
It is ALSO sad that an eIndo played a greater role than nay eAus in the release of our regions. I guess we were all too busy playing in IRC.
I guess our Senate and our politicians are tightly involved with eIndo. The cats out of the bag boys!

When I first signed up for eRepublik and took a look around I thought remarkable; from 5 basic actions - working, training, fighting, trading, writing - sprung up a microcosm of society. Exploring the eAus forum and articles I found a group of people all articulate and devoted to one cause: shaping the sort of Australia they would like to see. Not mirroring the one they saw in the tabloids in RL, but genuinely trying to create an egalitarian, compassionate society where young players were helped and encouraged, trying to overcome the RL shackles of blind nationalism, hate and division.
And then I read posts like Icey and AWs' above. I know I shouldn't have, but I really expected better from you guys, particularly you AW. While you seemingly relish in your public image as enfant terrible extraordinaire, I never took you to employ an openly racist polemic. Australia deserves better statesmen than you two.
Ok i'll look into my funds and see what i can do.
