Price/Productivity overview in Norway

Day 135, 14:33 Published in Norway Norway by Evleos

Welcome to my second economic overview of the Norwegian market. I will compare income/productivity ratios over most of the sectors, giving the reader an idea about where to work and where to hire. The numbers are based on the lowest cost of acquisition. The prices listed are the selling price of one point of productivity. All numbers are in NOK, a currency that is steadily strengthening itself. For international comparison, 1 NOK = 0.055 Gold.

Food

Recently we have seen a sharp decline in competition for the lower end food market, fortunately resulting in higher prices.

Q1 = 0.26
Q2 = 0.5
Q3 = 0.93
Q4 = 2.7

Neutral starting wage: 0.52NOK

Altho prices have been increasing, they are still quite low compared to other markets - especially as there is a steady demand for food. One positive fact however, is that the food market scales very well.

Gifts

Supply in this market has increased as a result of the high prices, and high prices have brought down demand. The market seems to adjust after the sudden demand-shock following the change in eWorld nature.

Q1 = 0.345
Q2 = De facto absent
Q3 = 0.54
Q4 = Absent
Neutral starting wage: 0.69

We also see that this market scales very poorly to increased quality, a bit more porly than I expected.

Moving tickets

This market is severely undersupplied, even without war having been declared. The spread is massive compared to the other sectors, clearly signaling that this is the sector to work in.

Q1 = 1.079
Q2 =1.44
Q3 = Absent
Q4 = Absent
Neutral starting wage: 2.158. This is recommended to be 0.11 Gold.

However, this market scales quite poorly too.

Property

There is now a real need for houses as hospitals does not give away wellness anymore.
Q1 = 0.405
Q2 =0.5292
Q3 = 1.08
Q4 = Absent
Neutral starting wage: 0.81

Weapons

Expect massive price increase when war commences

Q1 = 0.237
Q2 = 0.378
Q3 = 0.539
Q4 = 3.78
Neutral starting wage: 0.474

It is evident that new players should work with either property or moving tickets.
