Good evening Australia.

A brief update for you on the current state of Australia and my apologies on how long it has been since the last update (work has been crazy the last little while). Also thank you for re-electing me for a second term.

Budget

Our budgetted expenses came in as expected due to the unfortunate acceptance of a rogue MPP which Congress mistakenly approved. Can I ask all Congressmen to check the Congress thread prior to voting on MPPs.

Our income came in just under $20,000 over budget. I was a bit pessimistic about our tax income and wasn't sure how much income we would get from org rent which came in strongly.

We still spent almost $70,000 more than we earnt last month which could mean we need to do an issue of currency using gold in the treasury sometime in the future.

For the coming month I am budgeting the following.

I have not included in the budget any spending for the Joey Development Scheme. At the moment there is $42,000 currency and 15 gold in there. Once Callum gets moving with that, I have authorised him to use that money as required to fund the requirements of the scheme. He has instructions to be frugal with that money and if he needs additional funds in the future they will be budgeted in.

Theft
Nothing to report here. It has now been over 20 days since admin last responded to a ticket from me which is a piss poor effort. Saiwan attempted to get an admin friend to assist but there has been nothing yet. I can only presume admin don;t care about thefts because we might buy more gold to replace the money.

Peru
Also no change here. Straight after finishing this article I will be contacting the new Peruvian CP and MoFA and see if they are more reasonable than EBM. All they will need to do is reply to messages and they will be beating him.

World Affairs
Most of our allies continue to come under major attack from Asteria. Brazil has now also been wiped while Serbia, Romania, Peru etc continue to keep Croatia, Argentina and Chile wiped. We need to keep fighting as hard as we can against Peru so that they are forced to divert damage from helping their allies.

Have you asked admin to look at the account of the last PM before you who has either quit or gone inactive. My 0.02c is he has had opportunity to correct the record, the money is likely parked with or through him and he was the last person holding the purse behind the MoF.

Frankly I don't think you need to look far or have a massive investigation admin to at least confirm this is not the case. At least confirm this one little thing that should not be awfully hard to figure.
