Plato Runs Out of Things To Ruin
According to sources close to Plato, the silver-haired personality driving the engine of eRepulik has finally exhausted his list of things to ruin about eRepublik.
“The introduction of the Dictatorship Module was supposed to kill it off entirely,” said one administrator who chose to remain anonymous, adding, “but when eNations seemed to embrace it to their advantage, Plato realized he would have to kill off the very thing he thought would kill off eRepublik.”
The stark realization that there was literally nothing left for Plato to ruin comes at the long end of a multi-year campaign to systemmatically destroy every aspect of eRepublik that ever actually appealed to the poor bastards who made the mistake of ever playing it to begin with.
“At first there was quite a lot of excitement around the office as the list of features slated for Plato to completely screw up by unceremoniously dismantling the precise dynamics that at one time made eRepublik a modestly interesting game was announced,” said one of eRepublik’s code writers, “we saw opportunities to troll countless eCitizens by removing every vestige of complexity from the game to the extent where the red “Fight” button was the only meaningful mechanic remaining. Now that we’ve finally reached that point there’s just kind of been a gigantic corporate sigh.”
“Whelp, I guess that about covers em. I can’t believe I ran through them all already.” Plato commented, indicating an emotional relief that it was finally over.
“I really hope they’ll give me an important role in Tactical Heroes pretty soon so I can begin work on screwing up that game too,” said a despondent Plato. “What else am I supposed to do now that eRepublik is dead?”
At publication time, our reporters were monitoring the situation as Plato was seen beating on Alexis Bonte’s office door repeating, “Give me something else to destroy! It’s what I do best!”

That office is empty and has been for years.
I know a much better game Plato can't touch and you don't even have to register!

savage
Gnil they can find new ones to smash.. believe me
Honestly, there isn't much left to smash.
Say goodbye to MUs 😃
They're already hard at work designing the next thing that they will eventually destroy to suck what is left out of the hopes of the player base.
This is exactly the thing. They introduce something new, then they kill it. Look at the pitiful Guerrilla fighting! They introduced it, then when the screwed up the weapons they killed it. Now nobody plays it.
It's a psychotic cycle.
I like that you just write troll articles now. I think it's your calling.
tldr
Fail.
Disappointing.
Not enough sarcasm in your truthful reporting.
It's too subtle.
Plato will have to have it explained to him with Crayolas and sock puppet theatre.
Please add more sarcasm next time.
😃
SAD!
Worse is the fact that he would announce new features such as 'regionally elected officials' and 'perception training' for the newly created Air Force and then....
Headles pluto heh
FAKE NEWS
Plato introduced dictatorship to boost the market (more spending on weapons as well as for CO's in expected epic battles for/against dictatorship).
It didn't work out (these battles are rare, even more rare they go epic) and he realized that this change is even more devastating to societies all across the e-world, so he is now penalizing it with income deduction. Not a bad move, actually.
each erepublik country is in dictatorship
there is a need to find alternate way
But in that way Plato must to invent others dignity places for dictators.
I am not arguing in favor of dictatorship.
I am arguing that the pattern of Plato is to haphazardly toss something into the game, realize that it sucked (after we have built entire systems to accommodate the change), then kill it off.
Look at GF. Started as a good thing that needed some minor improvements. We expected there would be improvements because of the "coming soon" boxes in the gear inventories. So Plato "improves" GF by introducing a weapon that completely destroyed GF. Now nearly nobody bothers to play it at all.
Anyway, it's too hard to care anymore.
keep pressing the red button.
And don't ask questions, or it will make no sense.
V!!
you are the last player left. we are all gypsies trying to extoll the last cent from you. Romania uber alles.
Now everything makes sense 😛

The joke is on you. What did you think "unique reversed-entry strategy for his online strategy game" meant?

You should be happy that red button actually still works.
