Of Mice and Of Men...and Of Vice-Presidents

They say you can take the measure of a man by the company he keeps. I disagree, mostly because I keep a lot of company and it isn’t fair to any of them to be judged because they hang out with me.



But I do think that a Presidential candidate can, and should, be judged by the Cabinet he picks for himself. A President’s Cabinet does much of the heavy lifting and day-to-day operations that a President can’t because there’s still only 24 hours in a day, despite our best efforts.


This diagram informs me that there’s no room for another couple hours in there. Disappointing.

That’s why I considered and carefully reviewed my choices when picking the people I want around me if I win the upcoming election. That’s why I picke😛


Kria Erikson as my Vice President

Kria is a good friend of mine from the American Military Party (AMP). I’ve known her for close to a year now and always been impressed with her work. She served several terms in Congress, was the Party President of the AMP for two months, and previously served as Vice-President under Alexander_Auctoritas’ first term, where I was the CoS. I enjoyed working with her then and when I started preparing my campaign, I knew Kria was the VP for me. She’s not afraid to tell me when I’m being stupid or an ass, and that’s something every President needs on occasion.


Evry as my Chief of Staff

Evry and I have worked together longer than most of our nation’s current parties have been alive. The CoS’ job involves running the Cabinet, keeping track of all kinds of things, and generally helping the President manage the rest of the leadership team. As one of my oldest and closest friends, I trust no one more than Evry to assist me.


Tenshibo as Secretary of State

Tenshibo is a relative newcomer to the realm of international politics, but while serving under President Artela he’s done a good job keeping up with the world situation and serving as the face of the United States in the eWorld. With a crack staff of assistants, Tenshibo will work to ensure we continue to serve as a friend to all those fighting the oppression of ONE.


Ralph Ericson as Secretary of Defense

Ralph’s been around the military block before, and since the majority of our national budget goes to the programs in the Department of Defense, the SecDef is an important role for any Presidential administration. Our expanded military and recent efforts to upgrade our military system will need Ralph’s constant attention. Plus, his avi is adorable (don’t tell him I said that, please!).


Vanek26 as Chairman of the National Security Council

It’s Vanek...I shouldn’t have to say more. For the dozen of you who don’t know Vanek, he’s the man with the plans. He’s spent so much time running the NSC they might as well name it after him. When it comes to the war front, Vanek works with our military and militia leaders to keep the war machine that is America rolling.


Molly Emma as Secretary of Interior

The Department of the Interior runs America’s domestic programs and currently has the largest staff of any Department. Molly Emma has been working with the people and programs involved for some time now, and I’d like to see her continue her good work. Hopefully, we can increase awareness for these programs, since they all exist to make America a better place for you, the people.


John Killah as Secretary of Media

Mr. Killah has been publishing the national newspaper for President Artela and his writing is always a joy to read. In an age when the media is a shadow of its old self, he has brought back a little class and fun to the White House Press. He’s a class act, and we could use some more of that.

In addition to the lovely Secretaries, I intend to have a group of advisors and other officials around, including but not limited to:
Alexander_Auctoritas
Artela
Israel Stevens
Kemal Ergenekon

I think it’s a pretty awesome group. Of course, that’s why I picked them!
