Odd people and eRepiblik

Day 3,465, 11:31 Published in USA USA by Pepe Cuervo

I joined eRepublik back in Aug 09, 2009. I used to play Tribal Wars but that used to consume too much time and a friendly enemy invited me to play this game. I recall thinking that this was an easy game and since I didn’t have to dedicate too much time it may just fit into my daily schedule, and throughout my entire time as an e-Citizen this held true.

Naturally, I believed that I had a certain insight into this game, due to my years of playing but going around and checking all the new things and trying to understand how to get one thing or the other have proved me wrong.
It is a truth. Logging in for a moment every day over a long period only makes you older.

With such a bussy schedule outside the game, I often ask myself why I play eRepublik, how may it feel quitting. If that’s something I think about there might be a reason for it. This question has come up various time. But for some odd reason I just keep playing.

I play because I love the game. I love talking to odd people every blue moon. This is a feeling I’m addicted to. I do start conversation on the supermarket with women I just bump with (especially on the organic vegetable department) and anywhere with anyone that comes close enough to do so.

Simply put, right now, playing eRepublik still an option for me because there still plenty of you, odd people, out there making the game interesting.
