That's right. Empress Day rolls around the corner yet again. This month, I was about to make my own nomination but saw that Shim Myeong-eun nominated Ryoko Okami from Okami-san to Shichinin no Nakamatachi, who I believe should win.

Now, I imagine a lot of you are thinking "who the f^@# is Ryoko?" Well, she is just the fiercest fighting lady this side of the woods who uses her "Neko Neko Knuckles" to whoop ass. They might be the silliest damn thing anyone ever put on in a fight but who needs respect from the get go when you can demand it through a pounding?

Interestingly, Ryoko's character is based off of the wolf from the popular children's story "Little Red Riding Hood." I'm not sure why the wolf wears such a small skirt but I won't complain.

I'm not really sure if the Japanese understood "Little Red Riding Hood" the same way I did.

Ryoko is a bad ass with a penchant for being a giant softy from time to time. eJapan, we could use her skills this month. With giant arguments popping up in the diet all the time, citizens who were practically landmarks here leaving, and an Indo's article sitting at the top of our media, we need a level headed punching she-wolf at the helm.

Over the years of watching anime, I've seen over 400 series, been watching it sense I was a kid, never seen NEKO NEKO KNUCKLES, but in terms of the type of character, then ya, there are more similarities then originality, but most animes try to add some kind of different spin to the character.
