Making money
Tom Falco
I was fortunate enough to play this game some years ago and to return years later (now) to play again. However, I've noticed the same problem with making money as before.
At the moment, it costs a lot of money to set up a factory, a lot to travel between regions and a lot to employ people. There's a lot of competition when selling products and the countries where products sell for more have very small populations, so is just as hard to sell in.
So, I have the following questions for the people of erepublik;
Where to open factories?
What factories to open?
What level should these factories be?
Where to sell the products these factories make?
I've opened it up as a discussion so that other readers can benefit from the answers to these questions too.

- First of all find an industry you are interested in (probably FRM right now in case you want to work as manager)
- Check the regions with the tool i mentioned above (best industry bonus, smallest pollution)
- Create your holding + companies in the region you found
(Works the same with ARM/HRM but I am not sure if you are able to compete against commune work)

You have the company calculator on erepublik-deutchland where you will see that you won't pay off the investment a year after you made it, so I don't think that it is a good idea to invest in some companies.
If you wan't to waste your time the only way you could make money on daily level is by byuing and re-selling products (also you could use erepublik-deutchland tools to find the lowest price)
From portugal I think I am one of the biggest producer in wraws nowadays,In the last 6 years my game was based in the economic module, my advice is the same that ePeace gave you the economic module is dead and plato will not do anything about that, the game is based in the war module and € packs so if you want to invest in factories you have to know that you will not recover the investiment in a short time.
I have more than 400 wraws rubbers and aluminium and some q2 and fishery fraws, I have the advantage to have alot of storage so if I cant sell the prodution at maket price I can keep in storage at least one month, you have to know that nowadays the market is unstable you can sell your prodution fast or it can take few days/week.
So if you decide to invest in factories for now I think the best way is aluminium wraws in azores is the best way tyo recover you investiment but will take perhaps more than a year.
You have to buy licences and pay taxes to produce so think well.
Best Regards
