Lynari is President

After closely following the elections throughout the day yesterday, The Salzburg Observer can now safely say that Lynari has been elected president of eAustria.

In this Direct Election, 43 eAustrian voters visited the polling stations in total.

A massive 65% majority pulled Lynari through top, with Ivanlp following with 34%.

Due to the small number of voters, Lynari can not claim a land slide victory; However the number of voters in eAustria is considerably more than any external observer would think, the inactivity rate here in eAustria is surprisingly low.

Unfortunately, the number of voters has not changed since the last elections when Metallon presented himself as the candidate for presidency.

Hopefully the new administration will increase this number, Lynari has yet to comment on his plans for this term however.

The most important factor of these elections was that there were two candidates from two separate parties. This certainly shows progression, though an all out battle between the Free Marketeers in Rot Weiss Rot and the hard line Socialists in the People's Socialist Party during the next congressional elections is to be expected.
