Let's Fight, Fight for Peace!

Day 1,741, 12:31 Published in Switzerland Switzerland by Monsieur Guillontine

Salut madams and monsieurs,

First off, I would like to deeply thank all of you for your support in the Swiss Peace Party's first ever Congressional election! Even though we are small in size, we secured 20% of Congress, and achieved a 100% success rate! I was really impressed by the support we received, and I am impressed with our candidates as well: all of them are eager to make an impact on the Swiss community this month.

To get to the point though, now that the Swiss Peace Party has made a strong showing in our first Congressional election, we plan to recruit massive amounts of players... well, massive in Swiss terms. It may take a month, or it may even take a year, but the Swiss Peace Party will soon become the largest party in Switzerland! And guess what? You can be our newest member!

So now, let me introduce the Swiss Peace Party's in-depth program. Let's start with our core mission statement:

We believe in fighting, but only fighting for peace
We are all equals, so everyone's opinion matters
We need organized, coordinated leadership
We are non-partisan, so we do not choose to be a part of any conflicting 'political factions'
We are the funnest party in all of Switzerland

So what does the Swiss Peace Party hope to accomplish now that we have a voice in Swiss politics? Above all, Swiss sovereignty is our priority. However, although some tend to rely only upon warfare and military strategy to liberate Switzerland, our party does not only advocate such violence. Instead, the Swiss Peace Party strongly emphasizes the use of diplomacy as a weapon. When used correctly, negotiating can be even more powerful than simply brute force. As opposed to fighting against a brick wall, using our wits to draw up peaceful solutions not only benefits the Swiss people, but also our allies who might need our military support elsewhere.

In regards to diplomacy then, it is important that we point out that maintaining a more friendly, healthy relationship with all of our neighbors is crucial for our survival, especially when considering the fact that Switzerland is a small nation surrounded by many aggressive powers. It is therefore always an important aspect of the Swiss Peace Party's platform to continue to create strong relationships with citizens of various neighbors, an international network of peace-loving allies.

Creating a peaceful, co-existing environment in the Swiss community is also another goal which the Swiss Peace Party hopes to achieve. How will we do this? Well, most importantly, whenever there is a conflict between two Swiss factions, we will work our hardest to try and usher in a truce, or at least mitigate the intensity of the in-fighting. Besides the little mud-slinging wars, eliminating all possible PTO-ers is definitely something the Swiss Peace Party will focus on. No community should be burdened with a threat from outside forces, and so we will be relentless in our persecution of PTO-ers. None shall survive.

So as you can see, the Swiss Peace Party has a clear plan which we will always work toward achieving. It is now up to you to decide whether you would like to become a part of our team or not. It's our choice. But if I were you, I wouldn't waste another second. Join the Swiss Peace Party!

Let's fight. Fight for peace.

Peace out,
Monsieur Guillontine
President of the Swiss Peace Party
