Lets start with some theme music: Wake Me Up
Oh man that was a nice nap I took for three weeks…. What have I missed? Wait!! Let’s start off with a riddle America and see if you can answer it:
What do millions of dollars and a Whale get you?
Ok… So anyway, let’s go over what I missed.
1. We are about to get wiped again? Hmm... I thought we were supposed to be completely free by now and sipping margaritas on a beach. I guess things didn’t work out as planned. The situation must have been harder than it looked. At least we didn’t spend a huge chunk of our treasury on it………...oh wait, we did. Well, at least there’s not a drive to get even more money without a proper long term plan………...oh wait, there is.
2. What? RGR is still here and has gained some steam? He even got people into Congress? We barely won the ATO last time?
3. Our President has angered our allies especially Croatia, who is one of our oldest and most trusted friends????
You know, when I came back, a lot of people asked me to run for President and I deferred. Maybe I subconsciously feared that the game had passed me by. Maybe I was afraid that the America I left didn’t exist anymore and that it had somehow been replaced by a people that had grown apathetic. With all due respect… Has it?
This country once crushed the walls of Karnataka and claimed Hello Kitty as ours. We freed countries all over the world and crushed PEACE not with a sword but with simple diplomacy. These things were done by great leaders that led a proud and motivated people. Now they are just a memory. Where we find ourselves now is a place of trepidation. Our territories are once again slowly slipping away. Our democracy is in peril and we elect people that aren’t interested in creating a community of independent people, but instead are content to rule over wreckage.
Is this what you want America? Is this all there is left? Are we slowly going to slip away into the dustbin of history? Money can buy you elections. It can buy you a few victories on the battlefield, but it can’t replenish a broken spirit and reinvigorate a community. It can’t unify us as one against our common domestic and international enemies. And it can’t buy me love. See what I did there? Can we turn the tide and become the great power we once were? Can we save the democratic process in this country, reclaim our territories, and make this country both physically and spiritually whole again? Do YOU have what it takes to do that? I think it’s time we found out……

Because it's all a single person's fault and has absolutely nothing to do with Admin "interference" and a lack of bodies/organization with the people who were initially trusted to handle certain aspects of things.
Josh isn't just talking about one administration. Repeated institutional failures over time in the country. It has been on the decline for a very long time.
While some of the major introductory points may be about a whale, the overall message is about the nation. Think big picture whenever you read Frost. He's a big picture kind of guy.

What I see is a list of grievances and some "rah-rah". I hope there's a plan forthcoming that addresses them and delivers on the rah-rah.

The failures happened when whoever came up with this "I'm tired of Balkans fighting" whine wasn't more rigorously challenged. I don't know who all was a part of that, but anyone who agreed with it and didn't have a concrete plan to construct an alliance capable of doing enough damage to defend itself ought to sit in the e-corner wearing an e-dunce cap forever.
Oh, so where's the Grand Duchess hiding now?
Well put. A drastic drop in morale and a lack of cohesive plans of attack on multiple fronts. Will be interesting to see how candidates campaign this season. Most people seem content to be wiped again.
Too much wasted money.
Too much wasted time.
Too many lost players.
Mechanics may be out of our hands, but how we play and how we WIN are not. Time to take it back.

Well shit, things just got interesting.
To be fair, we hd turned the battle on almost all fronts, and were making gains, even USA regained the initiative in a straight up fight. Then Pinocchio introduced the latest incarnation of "stupid is as stupid does tournament" and reversed all our gains for the past month and put us all behind the eight ball again.
Now we have to regroup and wait out the rest of the "energy bonus for TWO" as well as drain their bigger candy gains in the next few weeks and try again.

Not that I don't agree with you, but I haven't seen you suggesting a long term plan either. While you may not be president, nor in his cabinet, you are a congressman, and an active one at that. You also had(have?) PDB access, so all the tools for you to suggest a plan exist, but have you taken advantage of them? Or do you need a shiny medal to do that?
Now, now, son. You know candidates do not reveal all in one article. But, your point still stands and it is a fair one. I'm sure Josh will take the time to answer it as well. You know he's not shy. 😛
I know candidates don't, but to criticise and not offer fixes is not a life I'm about yo. But, I'm confident my questions will be answered in his next article.

2. I agree wholeheartedly with a lot of what you say. I haven't taken complete advantage of some of the opportunities presented. I have questioned what the long term goals of this and other administrations are though.
3. In the coming days I will present some ideas on how we can get ourselves out of the present situation.
