Join a Political Party - Join a Sense of Community

Day 1,856, 12:09 Published in Canada USA by Michael 23

A newer player approached me and asked whether they should join a political party or if parties just need members and the answer is that everyone should definitely join a political party. It’s a sense of community, it’s an entire world of activity away from the basics of the game, it’s a way to get more involved. There’s a place in a political party both for the more experienced and the less experienced player and the newer players can learn a lot from the veterans. Just as any other party, the CPF is always recruiting, always looking for a new voice, a new view on matters to add to our collective and to have many members making up its ranks. It’s not about having more members, it’s about having more voices to share their point of view on policies.

A Sense of Community

A political party is a sense of community, it’s a place of belonging and more importantly it is a place to have your say and your voice heard. In joining a political party you should read about the political party’s policies, figure out what the political party stands for, what their priorities are and see if you can identify with the parties policies and priorities. After choosing a party that suits you, get involved. Post on the party’s feed, visit the forums to find out more information on the laws and proposals being passed, ask your party’s members how you can get more involved, and if you think you’re ready and want to give it a try, run for congress.

When deciding to run for congress, you should definitely pick parties in the top 5 rankings which are currently the CPF, CW, SoA, MDP, and UPC as only the top 5 will be in the elections to get their congress members elected. Other parties that are growing can also be chosen if their policies suit your wishes but you should know that they will need to grow a bit more before you could get elected into congress.

The CPF – The Canadian Progressive Front

I’m a member in the CPF and I thought I should mention this great party when advocating joining political parties. The CPF is a fair and equitable organization where everyone’s voice can be heard. We will not buy your votes nor will we ask anything of you in joining. We treat our members fairly and we leave it up to one’s own good intentions in joining. We are a community that stands up for what is right and work closely with other parties to ensure a strong and vibrant economy while ensuring our foreign relations run smoothly. We have a pool of experienced players willing to lend a helping hand and to help you get more involved in politics. Whether you post on the feed or visit the forum we are there for you to answer your questions. We also go to the forums so you don’t have to if you don’t want to, but getting involved in forum activity can be very great for you. Further we’re a leading political party in eCanada and a great path for aspiring congress members and CPs alike.

Regardless, of the political party that you choose you should understand that there are many great parties out there and that we have worked very hard together this past term to make sure eCanada has a vibrant economy and great foreign affairs. Many members from different political parties have contributed significantly and we believe that we have made significant progress for all citizens of eCanada. Remember a political party is a community for you to get involved in. It’s an entire world of information, discussions, debates and more where you can learn a great deal about eCanada and the entire world of eRepublik. There is no reason not to be involved in a political party and no reason not to have your voice heard. Get out there, get involved, pick the party that you identify with and have your voice heard.
