Interview with Swedish President zzzingo

Day 3,700, 15:21 Published in Australia Croatia by Div Jak

How long have you been playing?
-I started playing the game in early 2011 with a few pauses when I have been two-clicking.

What were some of your previous jobs?
-I have been active in the Swedish Military several times with different functions, mostly organizing. Then I have been Minister of Education for 2-3 years until I realized that there weren't any new players really. I have also spent a few months as Minister of Defense.

How is the activity in the eSweden community?
-Very low sadly, it has slow decreased for many years. But we are still some players left at least, mostly some older ones.

What languages are used in eSweden?
-Mostly Swedish, but we actually have some Danes people left in Sweden who have stayad here after the end of our Union with Denmark 2011. They use Danish, but we are able to understand each other well. There are also a few players who prefer to write in English, while most of them understands some Swedish as well.

What is Sweden's alliance structure now?
-We are in the Pacifica alliance and also currently have a few extra MPPs with some countries outside of the alliance, Estonia, Argentina and Brazil. We have been trying to find a spot in the middle of the two big blocks in the world, the Asteria side and the anti-Asterian one.

Are you pro-Asteria or anti-Asteria?
-We have been trying to have a decent relationship with both sides. Some countries in Pacifica are leaning towards Asteria, such as Poland and Finland while we also have countries that lean towards the other side. Our MPPs outside of the alliance are on both side of the world politics.

How are your relations with Russia?
-We have minimal communication between each other. But I think that both sides knows that we will defend each other in case of an attack on any of us.

How are relations with Finland?
-Kinda tricky, it's a bit like Russia, we know that we are helping each other in case of an attack. Unfortunate the Norwegian issue has caused some conflicts between some of us, since I have opposed the occupation of Norway since day one. But with that said, I think and expect that our relationship and cooperation will improve during this year.

How are relations with Norway?
-Very, very complicated, since I just attacked them. I respect and like them, but war is a part of the game and we really needed one.

Tell us about Sweden's war situation.
-We just attacked Norway to have some fun. We will see what happens. We have been supporting our allies in Pacifica for some time, but now it's time for us to hopefully have some fun too.

What are relations like with Lithuania?
-We have had a TW in our cores for some time until it was decided to pause it. LT was busy in South America and now we are waiting some more time until we agree to restart the TW.

What are relations like with Serbia?
-We had a MPP until half a year ago. Since then nothing has happened.

How are relations with Poland?
-They attacked Argentina a few days ago. As we have a MPP with Argentina, our MPP with Poland was removed. But we prioritize renewing our MPP with Poland as soon as it's possible, they are one of our key allies.

How are relations with Denmark?
-Denmark isn't much of a country. Just a small group of nice individuals.

How do you see the economy in the game?
-Dead, unless you call medal farming and buying packs with cc economy. It's the sad reality.

How is Swedish economy?
-It's pretty good actually. We have had TWs for the most time during the past months and most of our companies are located in Sweden, although we don't have that good bonuses. Which helps with tax incomes, compared to some other countries.
There is very little depth in the economy module. We have had a lot of discussions about the tax rates in Sweden. Our 3% work tax gives a lot of money but it also cost a lot of money from some of our people.
