In COT we trust

This is not opinion of my party,this is just my opinion as should be taken in this manner.
The Circle of Trust is a military alliance consisting of fourteen countries and one trial member.(USA)
Circle of Trust was founded after Bulgaria and Chile left their alliances EDEN and Terra. The alliance is made of countries who's goal is to help each other both economically and militarily.
Cot members:
Belgium
Bulgaria
Chile
Japan
Indonesia
Lithuania
Mexico
New Zealand
Paraguay
Peru
Republic of Macedonia (FYROM)
Republic of Moldova
Switzerland
South Korea
REAL question is what will Cot give Ireland. As you can see cot is not alliance in Europe most of our future friend are from other's parts of world like Japan and Mexico. Only near conutry is Belgium.
Now what relationship do we have with this nations, With no offence but for sure I know that we helped Croatia in Mexico(it was long away go.) we supp Croatia because we was in same alliance Eden.
Further more FYROM- we were enemy, simple as that we supp other EDEN countries in war with Macedonia.
Bulgaria- we were in same alliance, we suported Bulgaria when they wanted leave EDEN, we fought for them, we were friends but for my opinion if joining COT mean that we will loose 5 friends and get new one (Bulgaria) That is not simply true, we can stay neutral and be friends, with no alliance stuff.
WITH no offence to eJapan, South Korea,Lithuania. Peru, Moldova what we get with them. For sure that are all good and honest country with strong sense of pride, but DO WE HAVE EVEN A SOME of RELATIONSHIP WITH those countries, do we even have ambasadors in those country . Our space is in Europa not in Asia. Sorry but I just don't see our future with unknow country. I know that distance from country to country in erep dosen't mean nothing but our Original enviroment is in Europe.
Some concern:
1)Biggest trouble is in what relationship we will be with EDEN countries 😮
We will must fight against them, and they will have reason to attack as.
2)What if Uk join COT, how will Ireland react, Will we help them to join or we will stop them in their intentions to join?
3)How we will react if Cot attack Croatia and we must fight against on of our most loyal friend in game ?
4)We dont have wepp to supply boot camp and IA how we supose to sign MPP with 10+ countries ?
5)How we will react to new imigration wave, it's clearly that for some here is not place to certain group of people, so how will they react for new imigration wave from Bulgaria or from some South American Country, we will be ideal country to achive that thing that they can't achive in their countries like Congress medal.

It wont be as hard considering we will be dropping PRO eden MPPS, and we'll have to have mpps no matter what the result of the referendum
We have struggled to afford 8 MPP's now resulting in cut backs already in IA and bootcamp funding and raised taxes... there are 14 mpps needed with Cot as is not accounting for new nations they add that are in trial...

We need to sign the 3 now and then add the other 11 (plus any others who join) over the next few months. So.... as I originally said... How we afford 14 plus is beyond me.

We can add one or two a month, its not sign everyone at the same time and if you factor in we don't have to renew any other MPP's so we are not adding them to expenses.
As an ex-MC of COT I might be able to provide you gents with some insight. COT doesn't in fact expect every COT nation to MPP every other nation. It would be impractical and many countries have small budgets.
COT is a military power which is about on par with TWO and EDEN and yet supports smaller countries. If you look at its military objectives the USA's objective is to free SK and Japan.
In direct response to the points in the article above.
1) If your concern was relationship with Eden then Ireland would never have left the alliance in the first place. Why leave if you bind yourself to them in your foreign affairs? It didn't help Australia out much doing this.
2) The UK are in TWO. They would not want to join. Even if they did want to Ireland would have the veto as they would be equals with every other member in COT. Compare this to EDEN where Turkey was forced down Bulgaria's throats until they say no.
In terms of big alliances for a country of Ireland's size (no disrespect meant) an equal stake in COT is a very good deal.
Asecondchance: We don't need to sign with every CoT member, simply as many as we can afford.
Marinkomargarin: This debate has been ongoing for a long time, and information about CoT is fairly easy to find.
not about the MPPs we gain jabronis, it's about the MPPs we give up.
However the UK would never join CoT, if it came down to that, THREE would be formed.
