I'm running for TUP leadership!
Rathena Gelc
Yes, I am. Running for leadership of The Unity Party.
Why, in the name of Zeus?
Because TUP has been very inactive over the past few months; PPs coming, their promises being beautiful, the party electing them and then flop. Inactvitiy. None of the promises being realised.
I want to change that.
TUP needs a leader who will take things seriously. We, as a party, are proud of our heritage, proud of our values and proud of our unity. But we simply need to reform our party and change our way of thinking to change this great country. Election wins don't fall from trees - we need to campaign, we need to have a programme and we need to be in touch with people in order to win.
What, in the name of Jeremy Corbyn, can you offer TUP?
I can offer my passion and dedication for hard work and public service. I have been TUP member for a long time, seeing many Parliamentary and Presidential elections. And I wouldn't stand for leader if I didn't think there was something wrong with it. But there is. We are inactive. Look at presidential elections, for example. TUP hasn't been able to have its own candidate for president for months. And we haven't even had a vote to support other candidates. That needs to change. I am offering a fresh start and I want to offer exactly what isn't being offered - activity. I want to engage party members in discussions about the party, about the country and about ideas on how we can change eUK for the better. I will be an active and devouted Party President - that is all I will promise. There will be space for everyone to have their say and we WILL be active once again. Active inside the party, but also outside, in the media - campaigning for things we believe in. I also want TUP to become a proud party once again and I will do everything I can for our party if you elect me as your PP. TUP needs to be an inclusive movement - I will work hard on attracting new members.
These are my promises. I really want to work and want to be active. So if you want to see TUP being a party of the many and for the many, vote Rathena Gelc for TUP PP on September 15.
Also:
I love you, Jeremy Corbyn.

Cool - this looks like a good idea.
JEZ WE CAN
awful
For once I agree with you dapper
Good and good luck
Good luck! TUP needs someone to shake it up.
i was with you till i saw the picture, why spoil it
JEZ WE CAN
I love you, Jeremy Corbyn. really this guy is not to be trusted, look at the friends he keeps, including the old IRA
This guy wants to give Argentina a share in the Falklands, and wants peace with ISIS, some of his ideas are ok like getting coal mines back and re nationalising but some views are too left and this will lead to the rise of UKIP even more !

Look at the friends Blair kept - Bush, Cheney and others. All of them murderous twats. At least Corbyn is a principled man and a change if nothing.
I like him as a leader of the opposition but I just can't vote for him in a general election
I was kind of waiting for this to happen, it seems as soon as you got rejected by eCzech in those CP elections you've come over here to pursue the power you couldn't acquire there.
No.
1. I never got rejected because I wasn't on the ballot. I returned to the UK because it has a bigger and better community.
2. If someone stood up and said they wanted to be PP I never would have ran. We had internal party discussions about the elections and I decided to run because no one else stood up to do the job (except Madelina, but she wouldn't have a lot of time to do the job (her words)).
So that conspiracy talk of power is really unnecessary. I have no hidden intentions. I want to make the party better and more active and that is why I am running.
Whether you got rejected at the ballot or the support my point still stands. We were your second priority, after you couldn't get into power in eCzech.
I'll certainly concede the second point, I really don't follow the inner runnings of TUP.
That is simply not true. I could have stayed in eCZ because I had been vCP in the last month of my stay there. But I decided to go back to the UK because I love this community. I am no power mongerer - I'm interested in making TUP a better party for all. I didn't even run for Congress this month - so much for me wanting power.
Again, if TUP had agreed to have a candidate I wouldn't have ran as I didn't for all the months I've been here. But we cannot let the party be inactive another month.
I don't think this would be a problem even if it were true.
It would be, for me. An ethical problem. But it simply isn't true.
I mean you could just let the party wither and die like it's probably going to anyways but if ya really wanna keep up the permanent loop of attempting necromancy then whatever
Well, the same could just as easily be said about most of the other parties and the eUK in general
Bar ESO - plug
and UKRP
