I am running for Congress again ...

Day 1,130, 13:52 Published in USA USA by ligtreb

I'm running for Congress again in California, however:

I'd much rather you move to a different state to vote for another Congressman.

California is such a big state that I will win or lose by a wide margin. In most states in the country, 1-2 votes will make a difference. We have 61 regions, all of them will be equally as important as there will only be one congressman per region.

I've found 16 candidates you should be voting for instead of me. I initially tried to cut this list to 10 for simplicity, but couldn't do it. It was way too hard. I tried to include candidates that I thought were awesome AND may need help on election day. I left a lot of good candidates off this list because either I thought they didn't have any competition OR there were 2+ quality candidates in that region (see: Pennsylvania). This list is not comprehensive. With 61 regions, it would take way too long to list them all.

Californians: Please move to one of these states below to vote for one of these candidates. Message these candidates for free moving tickets, and I'm willing to provide some myself.

Alabama: Evan Feinman
Evan helped save the Constitution from the old forums and his work on the important document is important for future Congresses

Arkansas: HobbitTon
An extremely active player, he's shown his knowledge and also runs a business empire here.

Colorado: Blank Keating
Secretary of Education and Department of the Interior, BK is one of our most valuable citizens.

Connecticut: SweetBags
A long-time friend and big-shot in the National Guard, his experience can help Congress.

District of Columbia: SGGHays
The Speaker of the House this term, SGGHays gets stuff done.

Georgia: Hadrian X
Hadrian is a long-time friend and has an interview series you should all check out.

Gulf of Mexico: Michael Porter
Michael Porter is one of the best posters on the eUSA Forums and deserves his shot in Congress.

Kentucky: Jasper Signa
Jasper is becoming one of the nation's more prominent voices on taxes and economics.

Marylan😛 DisDick
Another long-time friend (sense a theme here), he's making a return to politics after several months off. DisDick was great in Congress before.

Massachusetts: Dr. Tango
Dr. Tango is an economic expert and former Congressional Budget Office Co-Director. I'm glad he's running again.

Michigan: Lieutenant Scheisskopf
He has one of the best newspapers in the world and knows the game. We need him in.

New Mexico: Laxsnor
Laxsnor does a ton of work for this country behind the scenes. He's extremely valuable to the country.

Southeast of Irelan😛 Glove
Glove does a ton of work with immigration and citizenship requests, work few people want to do but is important to our country's safety. Vote for him.

Valley of Mexico: Jon Barack Bluejacket
One of my oldest and best friends in this game, JBB has been in the military forever and this is his first Congressional run in the USA. He's so old, his only Congressional medal is from the month we tried to PTO France (one of mine is from there too).

Virginia: Athanaric
Seriously, this guy is awesome. What doesn't he do? He has an awesome newspaper as well.

Washington: Speedcat McNasty
Yet another long-time friend, he's a big-shot in the executive branch and SEAL Team 6.

UPDATE: After debating this again, I've decided to add one to the list:

Iowa: Animis
Very active congressman last term and was very highly rated, I'd love to see him back.
