Holidays

Holidays:
As I said in my last article, I was thinking about Holidays. Well, I proposed a trial one!
http://www.aoi-fan.uni.cc/index.php?showtopic=738&hl=

If you have not been to the forum you missed out just a little bit of deciding time, but it is time to vote!

Now, if the holiday passes I will slowly start more polls and discussions. There is still 14 days until this event would happen, so we all have TONS of time to get it done.

With that said, I am currently opening up to the public. I would like for more people to be involved in the event, rather then just myself writing up tons of articles. (should it pass) My idea's for articles and events are:

--- Quizzes/Contests

--- Lessons (Language?)

--- Japanese Culture Articles (Explain tradition, tea party, etc.)

--- Friendly Gifting (Kokawa Jinja, and/or everybody else?)

--- Stories

--- Poems

--- Anything else you can come up with!

If it does pass, I have a few people who will be doing some articles, but we can always use more!

I never really stated WHY I want a holiday, so I think I will do so here. For a long time (even before congress) I have been trying to promote more activity in the citizens, both in the media and forum. I think more well put-together Holidays will promote this type of activity. In the least, there will be more articles spammed, but of a high-quality. I also think eJapan needs a little more fun, being serious all the time in this game isn't the best. Lets create a good balance between the two!

This is just a trial run, and should it succeed I would like to start a movement on making it a monthly holiday. If it doesn't go very well, maybe it wont.

Also, this holiday would begin on my birthday, so I want it to be the BEST day ever for eJapan!

Science
Lately I have been taking Science on as a hobby (Nerdy, I know ;-😉. I was just wondering if people would be interested in hearing about such a thing? No, not math or anything. I have been watching documentaries and studying up on things such as: Time travel, the human race, etc. and I thought that I wouldn't mind bringing that to eRep. Some of the topics (though scientific) can be VERY interesting. For example, there are people that believe we may just be a computer simulation!

I might start adding a small section to my articles about these topics if people show the interest. 😉

Lots of love to eJapan!

P.S:
We live in a moment of history where change
is so speeded up that we begin to see the
present only when it is already disappearing.
