The media is VERY slow lately, its kind of sad... But on another note! I apologize for not updating as the polls went along! I will do an overall update now on the holiday situation.

First Vote
The first time we voted (as said in my previous article) was for if we should have the trial holiday I proposed as Empress Day. With a GREAT success, it passed 13-5.
I have been trying to gather people and ask them to write articles for the event on the 13-14th of May. However, most of the work for this will be done after the presidential elections.
I plan on getting together a small 'committee' to work on the creation of Empress Day, because it is a lot of work for one person!
If anybody would like to write an article that I have not yet asked, feel free to send me a PM about it. I do need to know
Second Vote
The second vote was if we should have an Empress, and what kind. The options were "Anime Empress" "Real Character Empress" and "No Empress". The idea of an Anime Empress won, and so my next job will be to collect nominations for the Empress, and prepare a vote AFTER the presidential elections.
How should we promote our Empress? I was thinking of putting together an album with pictures, so that those who write articles have an easy place to get the pictures. I plan to have articles written about the chosen character as well, to promote our Empress. Any other idea's you have would be appreciated!
If you cannot access the forum, and would like to nominate an anime character here, that would be fine.

That is very sad! I urge company owners to AT LEAST put up a 1-2 jobs for those new players. It doesnt have to be a high pay, just give them a job!
I plan to write more later on, but I don't have the time right now. Look forward to some new articles! (and everybody should write one, the media is dead!)

I'd rather have a real character Empress. But if I had to nominate an anime one, it'd be Nakajima Yōko from The Twelve Kingdoms. She is an Empress in the series so it'd at least save us 'some' face.
If a name such as Konata succeeds then democracy and liberalism, in this case, is something to laugh at and I'll strongly consider moving to China or Singapore.
That being said, I was born here and would be saddended if it came to that.

Empress day is NOT about having an Empress forever, it is about 2 days of celebration. The character shouldn't have to represent an Empress in the anime, that wouldn't be fair. This is a holiday to enjoy, and if you are going to go over-board, don't participate in it.
I will not appreciate nor tolerate people ruining a day or two where I am trying to bring fun to eJapan, not anger. Considering this is not a serious day, an Empress and Character that a majority loves should be representing it.
