Today, I am just a french citizen, but many in eFrance think like me, so that’s why I write this article.
You probably saw that a French Mofa, and few others tanked against you in London. Thus, you must feel disappointed and probably a little bit angry. Honestly, I feel exactly the same, and even more given that my government was too lazy to publish an article. Actually, in communication, our government is the worst I have ever seen, and even if they do few things right, I have to admit this sort of foolish mistake doesn’t surprise me (they wrote 1 official article since the beginning of the month –‘). But, trust me : we are not our government !
It was an isolated act : most of French people still consider Uk as a friend, and that’s because we don’t forget how much we helped each other. You can't judge a country because of few people !
The sad point is, since you left Terra, we are in two opposite sides, and sadly, sometimes, French players will fight against uk, and uk players will fight against French. Even with the treaty of Strasbourg, that’s, in a way, logical. However, what we can do is to keep our friendship and our NAP, and who knows, someday, when Terra, EDEN, or/and ONE will fall apart, we will be there for each other. Because our friendship use to be stronger, and it should go on !

As far as myself and others are concerned Strasbourg and France means nothing any more. France fought against the Uk in London and I will happily fight against France to repay the favour.
France IS Poland.

La perte de Londres ils s'en sont déjà remis et en plus vue la politique UK de ces derniers mois c'est pas franchement volé.

rems2a I think talk is cheap and actions speak louder than words. We know who are friends are by who fought with us in London rather than against us.
Gotta say, I agree with what Greatmoff has said and feel the same way.
I appreciate the sentiment if nothing else, we have to accept that our foreign policies are moving in different directions but we can still be friends and accept that we will have to be friends on opposite sides of a battlefield.

Même si je pense qu'on ne peut pas être ami, c'est pas dans notre intérêt d'être ennemi avec l'uk.
Enfin bref, ce qui me saoule, c'est que c'est pris à la légère par les responsables francais alors que l'on vient de perdre un bon allié. Merde quoi, quel mauvais mandat.

Il y a également des Anglais qui se battent contre nous au côté de l'Espagne et de la Pologne. Pour ma part, je ne compte pas me battre contre nos anciens alliés britanniques et je pense que la plupart des autres Français sont dans le même cas.
Même si c'est dommage au regard de nos excellentes relations passées et, je l'espère, de l'amitié qui existe encore entre nos deux pays, chacun est libre de faire comme il veut. Mais je reconnais que c'est d'autant plus préjudiciable lorsque cela vient de membres d'un gouvernement ou de personnalités du pays en question, que ça attise les tensions et suscite certaines interrogations.
Après on voit tout de suite ceux qui veulent tirer parti de ce genre d’évènement pour mettre un terme définitif à notre amitié en nous collant l'étiquette d'ennemis. Hail machin trucmuche, etc. Les Anglais ayant déjà retrouvé leur capitale, j'espère que nous saurons de part et d'autre tourner la page et nous rappeler ce qui nous rassemble plutôt que ce qui nous divise.

You must think about the one who left an alliance (in troubles), and went in an other one.
It's a choice, and all must assume that.
I remember several attacks on efrance, Uk was occupied to help eSerbia. Now, it's a game, if all countries fought in the same side, we didn't have war ^_*
But normal to think about some persons like Thatcher and others persons who fought for the efrance.. and thanks to these persons.
You have to see the difference of a country where you have friends, and one who are in your alliance.

Ce n'est pas nous qui avons choisi de passer de l'autre côté de l'alliance. Normal que ça frictionne de temps en temps. Maintenant on a d'autres chat a fouetter que de s'occuper d'envahir Londres avec les canadiens.
Pour ma part je ne frappe encore jamais contre les anglais. Mais bon osef!

Moi je me suis jamais battu contre l'UK, je me bat juste contre ceux qui envahisse comme les Polonais, je tappe pas sur les autres hors de la France (sauf pour aider les alliés contre les Polonais) donc pour moi les Anglais ont jamais été des ennemis.

@Yakou ; c'est quand même un peu bète que l'on passe directe du statut d'ami au statut d'ennemi. Et tu cites l'italie, on est tous d'accord pour dire qu'aguellid a bien merdé avec l'italie...
Là on avait réussi à prouver que malgré le fait que nous sommes dans 2 camps différents, on pouvait quand même être relativement allié.
To be honest, I don't either side: the eUK and France, has done a very good job of holding on to the Strasbourg Treaty. The eUK is constantly butt-kissing ONE despite the fact that the eUK is nowhere close to being a superpower. On the other hand, the eFrench, feeling betrayed, have essentially broken the Strasbourg treaty by fighting against the eUK. This political intrigue is just continuing in a downward pattern with no end in sight.
France and Germany are nothing more than distractions for Poland when EDEN is trying to hit somewhere else. Sad to see them reduced to that, but that's the political reality.

Ehm this is Polands best friend (the Poland that occupied France for so long and is currently still occupying about half).
You srsly want to say sorry? UK was the one who made the first step out of Strassbourg, not France and not Germany. Now they saw what Polands friendship is worth: Their capital got conquered for the first time at all. I certainly think some eUK Citizens are still remembering their true friends but they are a minority. That minority will understand why our orders were London- We fought against the buddy of our occupier !!!
