1| VPP's Corner - What A Week
by: Scott Coyle, Sr.

Sadly due to Trekkers RL situation he wasn't able to sit down with me this week but as all Fed's know we got each others back so this week this will be the VPP's Corner. We had one heck of a week with all everyone has been going through in RL. However with all the tragedy and National Bickering we managed to have a great week regardless. After a disappointing congressional check in two weeks ago last week we came back with a vengence and had a 100% sign in rate! That matched with the other parties as a country we had a 100% congressional sign in! That makes me extremely P/H ...

In addition to the great time we had in congress one of our own once again is running for Country President; Dave Gulya, and he was officially made the parties primary endorsement. It was a nail bitter folks as it came down to a 22 v 21 vote. For a recently reborn citizen to edge out a victory against a former 6 time PoTUS is simply amazing in that fact alone! Oblige put up a fight but in the end Dave took home the endorsement.

by: Abrahan Lincoln

Most of the work of the Federalist Political Department is to make sure we have a clear list for our congressional elections and to make sure we have a primary for both PP and CP elections. We did our best to reunite the hard working feds and run them for congress and pick them under criteria such as activity, work showed towards our party and capabilities of representation. We also made sure we have an active congressional whip for our caucus to remain active which seems to be working perfectly.

As for the last CP primary endorsement, we had two main competitors being them Oblige and DaveGulya. Dave won our primary by a vote, even though it was a quite split up election. It does seem that Dave lost a few endorsements due to the lack of more media exposure. We will although see how the final election pans out.

The PP elections will be coming and we might have some very interesting candidates.

5| HAMMER Highlight - Arg-ha
by: Arg-ha

Hi my name is Arg-ha.
I joined eRepublic May 19, 2009. I played for several months at that time. I didn’t stop playing for any reason but that I got a new computer at the time and I didn’t transfer all of my bookmarks over and was playing multiple internet games at that time. All of which I no longer play. I came back to eRepublic about 6 months ago, and I have been a daily player ever since (usually checking in several times per day). After I came back I concentrated upon getting my military rank up, which I did pretty good on, but trying to keep up with the demands of constantly fighting , I started looking at the game with a critical eye to determine how I could best keep up with the demands of energy.

There did not seem to be a good answer to the question based upon the dynamics of the game. Trying to make money and get food through the work force was a dead end answer. The economic scale was impossible without spending lots of real cash to upgrade the companies to the point you could have multiple employees to make enough that you could not have to worry about your energy problem. But, this created another problem you could not pay for those employees since the cost of the goods being sold was exponentially smaller than the going rate for labor costs.

After several months of this I found fed ‘s programs which led me directly to the forums. And thereby HAMMER. Hammer is the best way for new (and old) players to gain the strength needed to achieve any goal you have set for yourself. The people are great and make you feel like you belong.
6| Recruiting - Why Dave's Here
by: Dave Gulya

Hello Feds, my name is Dave Gulya and I am the new Recruitment Director of the Federalist Party; I am also the Press Secretary under Tyler Bubblar and the USAF Operational Commander. I wanted to take some time and explain why and how I came to be a Proud and Horny Federalist.

I left AMP because their activity dwindled to near death. I was serving as Chief of Staff and tried to spurn some activity and even eventually took over Recruiting in order to try to keep things going. When I let the PP know that I was thinking of leaving, he simply responded that he wasn't surprised.

I sought out an active Party that would allow me to do things, that would encourage me to be involved and a place that I would feel wanted and needed. It's something that I think we all want in this meta portion of the game. After all,Community is what it's all about, isn't it? Opportunity is what I am all about, it's been the foundation for my run as Country President.
Stay tuned for a special Recruiting Contest in the coming days!
