Welcome one and all to another Edition of the Anvil! Sorry for the delay I have been very busy as of late. I first want to thank the other parties for their support as I returned to Congress unopposed. I work very hard in Congress and will continue to serve our great nation. In semi-related news I have been selected by the eUS Congress to be our representative for a new program. The Brolliance Congressional Exchange Program, where one Congress Member from Canada and one from the eUS are given full access to the Congressional forums of their counter parts allowing them to take part in discussions and getting to understand that country a little better. What better ways are there for Bros get closer?



What was once PEACE is now only a splinter of its former self. When Hungary turned on it’s former allies, less than a day after leaving them it made me wonder just how bad things had been going inside PEACE itself. It couldn’t have been good at all considering the attacks the followed in the wake of the dissolution of PEACE. The most surprising part of this had to be the remnants of PEACE pushing back Hungary’s attack, France winning a war, who’d have thought it? Now we watch as the organization that we all know crumbles.

Not to mention Indonesia’s insane attack against Malaysia lately that is surely going to end in disaster for them, but a win for the Malaysians.

What nations have decided to remain in PEACE are attempting to reshape the alliance they way it was meant to be. A peaceful groups of friends coming together to defend one another, but they are tainted by the image of what PEACE became, a warmongering, vicious, and cruel alliance hell bent on world domination. I for one can say I have no problem fixing relations with the remnants that are reforming PEACE.

This will now require a good deal more work as you have undoubtedly heard the eUS has decided to join EDEN. I personally voted in favor of this. While there are both benefits and drawbacks to joining EDEN, in the end it is definitely the correct choice. The Joint Chiefs voted unanimously in favor of joining and that was a clincher for me. If our military leaders feel this is best, who’s to argue?

Fionia and I are very happy to return to Congress this term as an eMarried couple. We will continue to work hard for the betterment of eAmerica as a whole….that is unless she gets angry… Men out there, you know what happens when you argue with a woman, 90% of the time you will lose then you will need to find some way to make them happy…



In directly game related news the so called V2 upgrades coming in January are still shrouded in mystery. The two screen shots that have been leaked, appear much to my woe, to be fakes. The wellness monitors on the sides of the screen shots are different. One is like the current monitor, the other is not.

Removed because I'm concerned that Admin may go wacko for putting it up 😛 Maybe they are real? But here are two Images to make you feel better :3





I was hoping they were real because it’s what we may have actually WANTED out of the Admin and it would easily make up for a lot of their past mistakes. I’m still holding out hope that they are not fake but not much, I’m also still holding out hope for these updates as a whole. I want to see where the Admin take them, now onto everyone’s favorite section!

1. Welcome and thanks for taking the time. You have been around since the early days of Beta, how do you think eRepublik then compares to now?
Well, people from back then tend to find beta times way better. I'm no exception. We had PvP, we had the liberty to choose a government controlled economy, we had much less citizens thus making a closer community and... we had Pakistan.

2. What do you think of the possibly real/fake images of the new update in January and what would you like to see in the updates?
Hmmm. Never seen those pics. They look good though; adding some complexity to war module would be nice. As for what I'd like to see: bring PvP back. Fast. (also, fix my API)

3. How did you first join eRepublik and why?
I joined because my brother bugged me to do it, so that he'd get the 5 gold from invitation. I wasn't even planning on staying.

4. How do you feel fighting your former allies after the disintegration of PEACE as we knew it?
I fought versus Hungary in Burgenland battle. Even though the attack wasn't supported by most (Hungarian President even got impeached after it), I didn't enjoy fighting that battle and I hope it doesn't happen again. But odds are it will happen, eventually, and it'll be a decision to make case by case.

5. What is the funniest thing you have seen or heard during your time in eRepublik?
Spain "losing" 16k gold

6. What do you think about Antonio Moutinho and the fact that he is only a few hundred experience points behind you?
I love Moutinho and I think he's a great player, better than me. He's great with the in-game economy (he has lots of own companies and still has time to be our Minister of Economy). His place in the ranking is most, if not all, due to his effort and great success managing his companies. And it's great to have a countryman fighting for #1 (he got there before me, btw)

7. So, how much damage do you do and how much do you spend on tanking usually?
Today I'm at 445 damage per fight with Q5 and 100 wellness. The most common tanking routine for me n important battles is 40 wellness packs.

8. What do you think of the eUnited States in general? Most of us here don’t hate you we just think you’re on the wrong side.
I don’t hate you, I just think you’re on the wrong side. 🙂

9. What do you think of former Russian President Parter, who has spent thousands in RL money on this game, and who went from 24th to 20th place in rankings in the past few days?(Note: Parter was banned shortly after this interview was sent.)
I didn't spend any money in the game so far. But I do know that it's thanks to the paying player that this game keeps running, it is a business after all. So I'm not a critic of Parter, even though spending as much as he does (or as darkplayer before him or josh frost) amazes me every time. If he keeps going he'll eventually get to the top, even though I'd prefer seeing someone like Moutinho there, meaning that skill can still beat money. And apparently he was just banned 😐

10. Who would you say has been your closest friend on eRepublik and why?
Back in beta I had several RL friends playing (I think they're all dead now). Now I have erep friends. Naturally, most from ePortugal (like Judazs, LcfR, Klavh, Kualkerr and many others) and some from PEACE headquarters (I won't name any, because I could forget some)

11. What would you say is your greatest achievement in eRepublik and why?
I'd have to say being the first to reach 500k damage, because it was highly anticipated, since it was the limit shown in the personal profiles. And it "broke" the game 😛

12. After achieving so much and coming so far, why have you chosen not to become a country president and do you think you will run one day in the future?
I've been asked for some time to run for president but I don't have a politician profile. Besides taking more time than what I can spare right now, I'm more of a field man than a politician, plus, I'm not good with the masses. When I had more time I had several government seats such as vice president or secretary of defense but the big seat doesn't appeal to me. So, I don't see me running for it in the future... but never say never.
