30 questions. Nobody got them all.

I think some of you were surprised at how difficult the quiz questions were. I mean, not ALL of the questions were difficult. For instance:

Dead or Alive: Chutley

Chutley is one of the most famous dead guys in this game. Not that I don’t think he’s lurking somewhere under a pseudonym, just as I happen to KNOW that Chutley was also not his FIRST citizen in eRepublik, but almost all of you got “Chutley” right. I would shame the three of you who got it wrong, but I decided to only shame one of you instead. Come on, Andy Dufresne, wake up.

Some of the questions were literally IMPOSSIBLE to answer:

This guy used to play under a different Citizen name, and back in the day when people were “restarting” their citizens to take advantage of Low Division gameplay, I invited many to send me their stuff, restart with my referral code, then I would send them back their stuff plus some. This is the last remnant of them. As you can see, he hasn’t done much. Of course, this means that technically there were other correct answers to this question, though the rest of the correct answers are dead citizens. Here are a few:

AWESOM O (funny guy. I hope he returns.)
The Joshua Tree (made a splash. Must have been too big of a splash.)
Fraustbyte (had a HUGE stash of cash. Sad to see him dead.)

And there were others… But back to the quiz.

There was one question that EVERYBODY wants to know the answer to, but ONLY ONE CONTESTANT got right.

Who gets Gnilraps' referral Gold?

I’m not telling you the answer, and I’m not telling you who got it right. Like I said, it’s my quiz.

The “Dead or Alive” section was lots of fun. I got a particular chuckle out of how many people thought Aramec was dead. And Kemal. And the fact that not everyone knew that HeapSeppo is dead makes me sad. His death should be so widely celebrated that not even a +2,000% Gold on all Gold Boxes should eclipse the joy.

Some of the questions you can look up yourself. Like Eskimo Moltke’s last CS, gninculov’s avatar character (right click, google image search. and I'm surprised nobody guesse😛 bill belichick), and all of the “highest medal count” questions.

But as for Lord Aphex’s RL avatar character, I suppose I owe it to all of you to “reveal” the answer bellow:

Anyway, there were a few questions that were more difficult than I anticipated.

Whose eDeath caused the most meta chaos in 2016?

How could you not have answered Mike Ontry? Some of you had semi-decent answers (Phoenix Quinn for instance, or smee), but Ontry’s death wreaked havoc in at least one T5 party, the top eUS MU, parts of eUS Government, and for several prominant citizens. Damn you Ontry. Not only did NOBODY get that answer correct, but nobody even guessed what I thought was the second best answer, Scott Coyle (now alive again). His disappearance resulted in the sudden need for a plethora of new graphics, buttons, links, and asundry technology. Geeze, what is it with tech guys? Hey AndraX, how about putting in another few years of eRep?????

What 3 time eUS CP (1 time eUS Dictator) eDied in 2016?

Israel Stevens. There are other “close” answers that don’t match up with the details of the question… Trekker, Artela, and Tyler were all half decent guesses, but only IS matched the criteria. Now if someone could get him back, that would be great.

Clearly tsewell’s demise as the top eUS tank was a huge story that nobody has told. Expect a major article in 16 Shells some time soon honoring him. I miss you tsewell. Oh, the question was: Who was the most significant former eUS Tank to stop tanking in 2016?

I also asked, what male and female eCitizens I had the pleasure of meeting IRL during 2016. I was amazed at how many of you answered, “fingerguns”. (Hey FG, let’s make it happen!!!) Also, some of you thought I had met Pfeiffer. Blech. Hey FG, leave PF home, ok? Dufresne redeemed himself by guessing that I had met Ajay. Nope. Yhuseyin spectacularly guessed that the female citizen I had met was YUI. I can understand why someone would guess that. There was the sprinkling of “MelRose’s” (I wish!) and “Molly Emma’s” (I swear this would truly be the match made in heaven…), but the correct answer was TheNorm and MaryamQ. If you were EZC you sort of had an inside track on this, as I posted pics on our Forum.

Viky KC: former eRep name is? Mazzy Cat (lots of you got this right!!!)
Fanaxidiel: Real Life nationality is? Italian. What are you, asleep? How can you not know this?

And lastly, the 31st question was: “What is your ingame name?” which I assume all of you got correct except for whomever chose to answer thusly: “Gnilraps”. Too bad, too, because that entry was randomly selected for the top prize of 500Gold. Thanks, bro.

LATE BREAKING NEWS: Rainy Sunday’s entry came in at the last minute!!! First of all, she gets the top prize for being the last entry. It’s my quiz. So 10G to RS. Also, she got the Lord Aphex question correct, which turns me on. She was also one of the few who correctly answered the following question: “What eUS Citizen has the most True Dictator Medals?”, answer” Nogin the Nog!!!!! (most popular answer was Wild Owl).

Anyway, that was fun. Now it’s time to play Clopoyaur’s Guerilla Fight challenge, so I’m totally done writing this article and I still have a ton of links to find so… fin.
