CP Term In Review
asecondchance
With so much recent negative publicity (some deserved, some not) I thought it would be good to step back and provide an honest and fair assessment of Mick’s performance as CP broken into a few main categories:
Australia National Security: We have all of our regions back and they seem pretty well protected. We have made major mistakes in our strategy on Indo turf blocking Poland BUT our regions are free and preserved. So this was a huge delivery and win done in this term. Let’s not forget we were wiped only weeks ago.
Activity Level: Like it or hate it, we are active. When I moved to Australia any article written got to page 1 automatically since no one was writing. Now everyone is writing. There is drama… There are arguments… There is activity. There has not been this level of activity in the country in many many many months.
Unified Australia: This is probably the weakest area of this term. While there is more activity there is little unity from party to party or even MU to MU. While drama and arguments are good for activity levels they hurt our ability to be organized as a whole.
Communication: The communication level from this government started out strong the first few days but has died off since. I haven’t really seen to many updates on education, battle status, finance, etc unfortunately most of the communications that have come out are more politically motivated or announcing a resignation.
International / Foreign Affairs: Overall, the eNation is active and whole. While our reputation is damaged internationally due to our mistake in Indo it will recover if we are able to fix the glitch quickly. International relations change generally with each CP election...
So for all of the mudslingers, put the full picture in perspective. At least from my shoes, Australia is in a better position this term than it has been since I moved here.

i agree, the problems eAus faces are self inflicted atm
it will take everyone manning up and stopping the pointless aggression against each other to solve them
Shield has proven quite useful as always 😛
and i thing arguments/debate is a good thing...improves activity etc. but yes it can be taken too far

I have elevated a discussion with the TWO Secretary General regarding this.
In essence, I was quite happy with the strategy we were employing. It went belly up simultaneously when I received instructions from the SG to make the Poland counter-maneuver. I've said before and will happily say again the Government of Poland made no direct communication either to myself or my then Minister of Foreign Affairs Nicky6Fingers on the specifics of their first strike initiative and internationally my former MoFA was not well respected by the international community. It puts me on the defensive that my Minister of Foreign Affairs wasn't shown the common courtesy of a bilateral with his foreign counterparts.
We all agree things should have been better, but no government can act without co-operation - NO government. Whether it is mine, a predecessor's or successor's. If from a multinational perspective we are not given that respect, there is little else but to go it alone.
In saying that I will point out that Australia, in comparison to larger, stronger nations in terms of player level/str.. we have always had that advantage. When our enemies fear us weak, we come out stronger than anticipated. That of course depends on Australia working as one. Our country has been fractured by this internal power playing and it needs to stop.
I welcome the ALF to a new cause of bipartisan co-operation. Stop the attacks and come and talk with the Government in good faith. If there is no goodwill from the opposition, there can be no future for the country. I welcome Nicky6Finger's commitment to a new dialogue and it would be a welcomed sign in the interest of Australia's future success that the ALP President does same.
Regards and congratulations on this solid article.

TL😉R - It's not my fault.
Mick admit that you fucked up and everyone can move on. Poland had declared NE of Indo before you attacked Maluku. You as CP need to be paying attention to what is going on.
Own it Bro.
i dont usually agree with Cpt Jackson but this comment cannot be voted up enough
its just showing bad character not owning up to screwing up even when everyone knows it was a screw up
Why should Mick have to admit to shit he wasn't responsible for? He's already give you the reason why he had a shit foreign director 🙂 Nicky2fingers stuck up his bum
This is not a FA issue. Blind freddy could work out what was happening. Mick just screwed up. Sooner he admits this so we can all move on, the better.
You didn't exist when the screw up was made....multi.

I have repeatedly stated the position several times and it provides a perfect opportunity to underline the danger of having such a redneck attitude in the back rooms of the Opposition This is a divisive political issue perpetrated by the backwater partisan machinery that have held us back for too long and just jealous that I did what they as Prime Minister couldn't achieve.
So let me enlighten these recalcitrants. When the TWO Secretary General has to step in and co-ordinate with BOTH countries party to an action - that means both didn't get together. Nicky and I took our share of the lot and now it's back on track.
While the bulk of Australians are united, this divisive military and political underhandedness from a select few including the APP President and a few stray members of the ALF need to come back to base and work for the common good of the country. Flatty's now on board with it and has been working his end off for our liberation.
The Opposition know the Government's position well, for if they didn't they wouldn't keep on trying to hold us back in terms of ending the NE. We'll keep going and fund RW after RW after RW until they get the message and Poland can take Indonesia.
At present ask yourselves why Venja is attempting to deny Australia the security it rightly deserves. It really underlines how dangerous his party presidency is to our country.
TL😉R Poland didnt send you a memo so you blocked them just in case the NE'd Indo by mistake. RIGHT.
I agree with a majority of these points but the education part : P
mick is to stubborn and paranoid to admit he fucked up
Heading in the right direction. We leave Australia better off than it was when we arrived.
