Congressional Elections and Bribes

Hi folks!

When I started my paper, 4 days ago for my Congressional Run I didn't think that I'd ever have to use it again. Well, I was wrong. I kinda like it, putting down my in game thoughts on the off handed chance someone might think like I do. In any case, your probably wondering about the title.

Since today's Congressional Elections started I've gotten two bribes, one from a member of Inci begging and promising me gold if I stop telling people to vote for me and another from another party demanding payment for his vote in me. Both were surprises to me, the former being the biggest. Why would I suddenly stop telling people to vote for me and not only dishonor myself but those in my party who put their faith in me to run this election fair and square.

I've heard from some of the more established folks that Bribes are how some people get elected. Well, I am not one of them. As far as diving beneath the two clicking aspect of the game, im new, im green in the ways of the politics in Erepublik. But i'd never disgrace myself to accept a bribe from anyone to vote for them or to stop running an election.

To the guy from Inci In Washington State begging me to accept gold to stop fighting hard, the answer is a resounding No. I won't take your dirty gold. To the other guy in Washington State, no, I won't pay you to vote for me. To my brothers and sisters in the AMP, I thank you for your support of me.

I will Never let you down.
