Salut madams and monsieurs,

It is with my great pleasure that the Swiss Congress is now fully functioning, and I have been elected the Chairman of Congress. Basically, my duties consist of:

- Taking care of the Congress section on the forum
- Facilitating the flow of discussions, and seeing that decisions are made in a prompt manner
- Taking action against members of Congress who are acting inappropriately, including temporary or permanent dismissals of an individual from the forum or from a particular issue
- Creating Congress vote threads
- Responsible for encouraging Congress to be active
- Openning discussions about creating new laws or deleting them
- Representing Congress when dealing with the President



In addition, the Immigration Committee has also been established, consisting of 3 elected Congress Members and 2 chosen Government Members. bowen199, Rican, and Uros95 were elected by Congress, whereas Astorwald, and trukork were chosen by the government. The Immigration Committee will be in charge of investigating all individuals who apply for Swiss citizenship, then presenting them to Congress, and lastly directing the Congressional voting on whether or not these individuals should be accepted or rejected. Therefore, the Immigration Committee has the crucial role of surveying all foreigners before they enter our country.



So as you can see, the new reforms to Congress and immigration policy will not only impact Switzerland, but also allow us as a community to progress toward a safer, more successful nation. Say goodbye to political-take-overs... may there be peace in Switzerland for months to come!
