Calew re-enters the political stage

Day 918, 12:31 Published in South Africa South Africa by Calew
It has been a while, almost 3 months, since I was directly involved in politics. Back in March I resigned my position in congress to help liberate Gauteng and since then I have not been directly involved in politics. Now I feel it is once again time to enter the political scene, but this time not as a congressman.

As you might have understood from my introduction, I am hereby announcing my candidacy for Country President. I will be running under SAMCP’s banner, hopefully with support from other parties. In this article I will introduce myself to those who do not know me so well, and to those who do I will hopefully include something you did not already know. Later this week I will publish an article with my platform, where I will reveal my goals for this term.

Pre-SA-period

I like to divide my eLife into two periods; "Pre-SA-period" and "SA-period". During Pre-SA I spent most of my time fighting for my allies and trying to make money, back then social interactions and political ambitions were rather rare.

I started out in Romania and later moved to my RL-country; Sweden. But neither of those felt right so I moved on to USA where I found something that interested me; the eUS Airborne (o7). I stayed in USA for, give or take, three months during WWII.

During this time I was also interested in economics, I was running several companies and economic projects. But I will not dig any further into that today.

My time in SA

I arrived in Free State in late November last year. As a born and raised soldiers I immediately enlisted for the South African Armed Forces. I chose the Pretorian Guard since I already had political ambitions. My first interaction was with Colonel Azreal, who obviously was impressed with my past in the Airborne, because he promoted me to Captain almost instantly. Not much later I got a new promotion, this time to Major and recently former General Zamrg put his trust in me by putting me in charge of the Parabats and thereby promoting me to Colonel.

Less than a month before my arrival in SA I was elected congressman and served three consecutive terms before resigning. My ambitions were early to run for presidency, but I had not decided when, just that I would step up when the moment was right.

During my time in our beautiful country I have done all I can to help us develop as much as possible, but also tried to get as much joy as possible from this game. I wish to continue down this path and if you allow me I will do all in my power to keep us safe and keep us growing.

Thanks for taking your time to read this and remember;
