belgian national anthem

this is what we belgians are and wath were good at here is our national anthem (sorry its only in dutch i dont know it in english):

O dierbaar België, o heilig land der vaad'ren,
Onze ziel en ons hart zijn U gewijd,
Aanvaard ons kracht en het bloed van ons aad'ren,
Wees ons doel in arbeid en in strijd,
Bloei, o land, in eendracht niet te breken,
Wees immer u zelf, en ongeknecht,
Het woord getrouw dat g' onbevreesd moogt spreken.
Voor Vorst, voor Vrijheid en voor Recht.

So it says that we belgians give our hart and soul for our country! That its our goal in work and battle!
That we are ourselfs no matter what and that we are loyal!

My opinion is that this is true for almost all ebelgians ! This is who we are and thats why i'm so happy to live in this country in RL and in erepublik!

VIVA BELGIUM!!!

there was a similar article like two weeks ago and there was a version in 3 languages so posting only one language version kinda puzzles me as I'm not RL belgian.
but i gave you vote anyways : D

Yes, there was a post recently by another of our citizens. 🙂 I agree it is great to be proud of our eNation. This RL anthem is beautiful, but maybe we should think about creating a new anthem for eBelgium. 🙂

I think I'd rather keep the actual one... lyrics are good, music is great (you can feel I love my country and it's anthem in RL 🙂

If we make up another one, please let's not let eHelmut eLotti to sing it, pleeeeeeeeease... 😉 (cfr. Xgentis link)

The RL anthem wouldn't fit eBelgium completely - we don't have a monarch here (we almost had one, though he insisted to be our Czar 😛 ).
