Today, we shall return to that mystic ruler of Congress, the Speaker of the House.

In our last expose of the Congressional Leader, many shocking secrets were revealed. Additionally, lies were told, lives were destroyed, and several people committed esuicide after being exposed as whores and/or crooks.

No really, you just didn’t read close enough.

Oh yeah, and I mentioned that the original Speaker proggypop was assassinated by his successor. Well, guess what?

That was just a cover up. proggy’s back from the dead, after over a year as an undercover operative in a secretive spying operation against a number of 6th parties in the eUS we’ve deemed to be a threat to our power.

But that’s neither here nor there. We’ll just remove the people he’s exposed and you’ll never hear from them again...

Now, back to business!



Last time, I left off after yours truly served an extra partial term as Speaker of the House. So that’s where we shall pic up...with my second successor, James S. Pfeiffer.

During the start of WWIII, Congress was mostly a lame duck. After all, with the war on, they didn’t keep a tight reign on the money and let if flow into the arms of the military to kick ass. And of course, everyone realized that playing around during the war was pretty stupid. And so, Pfeiffer just helped keep the Congress holding on as we lost state after state in a titantic battle with the forces of PEACE GC.

You probably don’t know Pfeiffer...mostly because there was a massive scandal during his time as Speaker and eventually Admins banned him. They claimed he was a multi-cheater. Really, admins had to ban him to prevent the Cabal from taking over all of eRep by hi-jacking the eRep servers.

Pfeiffer was the first casualty in the Cabal’s secret war against the Admin. He would not be the last.



That’s right, ladies and gentlemen...we are your first, last, and only line of defense against the intrepidations of the Admins. When we aren’t oppressing you or subverting the will of the masses, we try and usurp total power in eRep for our own ends. Bet you didn’t see that coming.



Of course, with Pfeiffer receiving a fatal blow from the ban-hammer, a replacement was needed. Frightened and lost, Congress turned to a man forged and tempered by the military and party politics.

I’m talking Bill Brasky. Brasky was a new-comer to the Cabal, having received his invitation to join only a few weeks before his rapid and unsuspected rise to power at the hands of the Congressional Elite.

Mr. Brasky was only in power for a few days in Congress before his term ended and he joined the military to carry the Cabal’s influence to the rest of the world at gun-point. But in those few, seemingly insignificant days, Mr. Brasky made some big decisions. Most importantly he pushed for a close friend of his (and mine) to step up as the next Speaker.

Sacrificing his Congressional power for the better of the Cabal, Bill Brasky pushed one ‘Gaius Julius’ to run for Speaker.



Gauis Julius is, was, and forever will be the man who did the impossible. He served as the head of all three branches of the eUS government. His term as Speaker served a singular purpose: to conslidate all our powers into one man.

While serving as Speaker, Gaius was then handed the Presidency after the impeachment-due-to-being-in-jail of President Emerick. Eventually, after a second and full-length term, Gaius would be elected to serve as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to replace the retiring Eugene Harlot.

Chairman Gaius would lead the US forces in the Asian Invasion and beyond, serving alongside President Jewitt when the United States slapped Indonesia around from South Africa to India.



Of course, as the United States unwittingly handed massive amounts of power to its secret rulers, Congress would once again need a new leader (yes...this is a common theme in the history of the Speakership).

In a surprise move, Congress did the unthinkable: someone was given the post of Speaker of the House without having been elected to the position. Jasper Ferguson, Deputy to Gaius Julius, assumed the role of Speaker without a vote.



In short, Jasper Ferguson was the culmination of the Cabal’s hard work turning Congress into an organization slaved to its every whim. Without a whimper or a voice of dissent, democracy was destroyed. Totalitarianism had won the day.

The Cabal had taken over Congress.
