Get excited, the presidential elections are knocking at the door. This is a review of the candidates from the debate at #LPSC (Feb 1, 2010 8:00 PM EST).

Josh Frost/Max McFarland 2



Economy - Frost believes the new training module (Lana) is a major problem. He also believes that currently Supply is far greater than demand which needs to be fixed. He is a in favor of keeping the tarrifs the way they are right now and says that economic actions should be taken with suggestions from experts like One Eye.

Infrastructure - He is the supporter of the current fortress system and is willing to try out some lower Q hospitals if someone proves that they are effective. He also says that programs like Welcoming Committee and Mentor program should be used to move players and teach them how to play.

Military - He was the founder of Seal Team 6, so obviously, he is pro-militia. He believes that they help retention, and also teaches them how to play the game. He is also in favor of giving an advance notice to some militias to prepare for the upcoming battle, they do not need detailed information, just a sketchy advance notice.

Diplomacy - He believes we need to compromise with Romania regarding the current conflict and conduct joint operations with them. He believes that Romania needs the US and US needs Romania. There have been people who say Frost is 'only military minded', he defends this by giving examples of the diplomatic actions he took during his previous presidency: USA joined EDEN during his presidency; he also negotiated peace with France and Italy and convinced them to draw out of PEACE/Phoenix.

National Security - He wants to create a very active anti-PTO squad for the eUS and also wants to put blockers in place approved by all the major political parties. He also believes that we should help the admins fix false citizenships bugs.

Education/Interior - He believes the eUS should use Infohubs and also should use the NAU to educate citizens. He believes that effective mentoring is also a key in educating the citizens.

Joe Newton/James Strife



Economy - Newton believes the current economic situation is because there is lack of war and says that there is excess amount of products in the market and he is willing to experiment to find the best solution. If experimenting is not done, something is missed out.

Infrastructure - Joe is also a supporter of fortress strategy. He says that Q2 hospitals were tried before and they did not work; if strong evidence is shown, he is willing to experiment.

Military - He says that militias are good because they help retention and teach people how to play the game and furthermore, it also gives them a reason to play. He is willing to give information on upcoming battles to the militia unless the JCS tells not to.

Diplomacy - Joe Newton understands why Romania is upset and is ready to have an honest open talk with them and he wants to make EDEN even stronger because of this conflict.

National Security - He is willing to use data to track potential PTOs and gather intel and take necessary actions like freezing citizenship approvals if potential PTO threat is detected.

Education/Interior - He believes that Welcoming Committee is doing a great job and political parties should also help out. He wants to help the NAU and wants to pay the teachers to teach (not a whole lot of money but a small amount just to motivate them to teach).

PigInZen/Emmanuel Cruise



Economy - PiZ believes that the taxes should be raised/reduced to make sure the market balances between supply and demand. He also states that Lana and lack of war are creating problems in our nations economy. He believes that VAT and Import taxes should be adjusted if needed, and the outputs of any changes should be analyzed.

Infrastructure - A believer of the Fortress strategy and says that having smaller Q hospitals might help and is willing to try it out if stong evidence is shown.

Military - He is also a supporter of pro-US militias specially because it helps in retention and wants to give them data and statistic information so they can spread their influence. PiZ is willing to give the pro-eUS militia information on upcoming battles if the JCS approves it.

Diplomacy - He also feels the need to cooperate with Romania and wants to perform joint operations to improve relations with them.

National Security - He will support the Department of Technology to create anti-PTO and PTO tracking web applications and is also a supporter of nationally approved blocker candidates.

Education/Interior - He wants to give the new players a lot of room and resources to absorb the game. He thinks that Mentors, Militias and eUS wikis are a great way to help new players and also thinks that parties should take some initiative on helping new players out. He is also the current Vice President of the eUS. He wants to re-organize the structure of the cabinet by making the secretary focus more on government policy rather than on operation. He says that the deputy should be focusing more on operations.
