The title of this article serves as a literal description of its contents. In particular, there are two messages I want to share, and I don’t want to write two articles for this purpose. So here we go.

First, I’d like to congratulate Sluagh on his election victory. It’s a big margin, no question about the result even now (18:30 ERT). I hope I offered myself as an entertaining (at least) opposition. After all, an unopposed election is boring AF, and I think some of you may have missed some old-fashioned political wrangling that used to be common in the game some years ago.

I know I previously said I would leave the game if I lost, but plans have changed. I would have left, but now I feel I owe it to the two young players who joined my MU to offer continuing supplies and support to them as they grow in the game. Besides, I’m starting to like my new position as eIreland’s gadfly. Hopefully my inquiries in gov matters can spur something positive for eIreland!

This leads to the second matter I want to discuss:
